rileys pov: lucas and I were driving back and I couldn't have been more happier this was such a great day no it was magical lucas asked ME to MARRY HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and MY FAVOURITE SINGERS WERE THERE!!!!!!!! but now came the hardest part of today telling my dad. My dad has always been over protective of me when It came to anything, going out to parties,boys, even friends the one guy my dad loved since day one out of my friends was farkle for two reasons: 1: Farkle couldn't even hurt a fly so there was no chance he could hurt me (phyisacly and emoitionly) and 2: my dad knew I had NO intrest in being Farkle's girlfriend like at all!!! We finally made it out of the car and reached our way to my parents appartement. I used my free arm to knock on the door my 12 year old brother answered the door "hey auggie bear" I said as he gave me a slight hug "hey riles" he responed he looked upset we walked through the door and found my dad in the kitchen "hey dad" he didn't respond "dad?" he just stormed up to his room. what was wrong with him? I sat on the couch and motioned auggie to come over he sat next to me I asked in the softest voice I could "auggie what's wrong is everything okay?" that's when he broke into tears "m-mo-m sh- she l-le-f- left." he broke down into more tears then before "what do you mean she left?'' I asked in an even softer voice he cleared his voice "t-they got in a f-f-ight and mom l-l-eft. I told auggie to get to bed and asked lucas to take him to his room and tuck him in lucas came in a couple minutes later "oh riley" he said as he came and hugged me I got up and started to call my mom after the 3rd ring she answered I told lucas to keep it down

r: mom?

t: riley Is that you

r: yeah its me where are you?

t: I'm sorry sweetie I can't tell you that

r: what mom why?

t: just promise me something.

r: what anything!

t: take care of your family make sure your dad is safe and make sure auggie is happy!

r: no! mom you should be here to do that!

t: well i'm not but you are! I gotta go. riley i love you and tell auggie i'm sorry for leaving him on his own and that I love him.

r: no mom wait!

that's when the call ended

and that's when everything went black .
