I walked into the big auditorium with my makeup on and my long gown I was so excited! Goodbye high school helloo college just one thing crossed my mind lucas about him going to Harvard about us I wish he liked me like how I like him! But that's never going to happen!! Everybody filled the auditorium and we were ready to start all of a sudden my father started talking
Mr.Matthews:
Hello everybody friends family I welcome you today to the graduation of the class of 2020! (I chose a random year) i am Cory celery Matthews grade 12 history and English teacher! We will now start the ceremony we first would like to call up Darby Davis to pick up her diploma this will continue into we reach the last person lets begin! (Back to Riley's pov) I was so nervous as my dad called out all the names. Darby Davis, jade bill, yogi flannels , dave cornchips, billy franks, zay babanno, Sarah carpenter, Brandon rebel, Missy Bartel, Charlie gardener, tanner James, Brina carpentar,Peyton Clark, Farkle minkus, Maya hart, Lucas friar, and Riley Matthews! I scurried onto the stage shook hands with my dad and the principal and then took my seat next to lucas I just smiled at him and looked down then my dad spoke again he talks a lot! "For student with highest marks award goes to.........Farkle minkus for receiving 800 a's the highest record since topanga Lawrence Matthews myyy wiffeee! I could see moms face it was NOT happy!! Farkle got up and started reading his speech I didn't really pay attention all I could think about was lucas all of a sudden people were clapping do I quickly joined in. My dad was now speaking "Now we have a year summary slide show put together by lucas James friar lucas please come up on the stage." Lucas got up I just looked into his soft green eyes he seemed to be looking at me then all of a sudden he smirked! Why did he smirk? Did I look silly or something? It was the end of the video and I watched it in shock I looked a lucas several times this was Sooo sweet he's so caring and loving then he held my hand and took me in front of the screen he bent down on one knee with a rose and asked "Riley Eleanor Matthews I love you will you be my girlfriend?!" All I could do was cover my mouth in shock while everyone else was saying awww and that's so cute I could hear maya saying "SAY YES RILES!!!!" He stood up and asked again "so will you be my girlfriend?! If you say no this is really awkward!?" I just laughed and hugged him as close as I could everybody threw their hats up in the air while it was happening before I knew it I kissed lucas his lips were so soft like I imagined and he was kissing back! This was the best day of my life! Because now when he goes to Harvard we can still hang out in between classes as everyones hats came down and I pulled away "does that answer your question!?" I asked he just stared at me all goofy and said "I dunno know I think I need another one!" I playfully punched him and kissed him lightly on the lips and pulled away this is a moment I will remember forever!
The next day
Mayas pov:
Since our school had a mishap the day before prom we never got to have it so now our prom is in two weeks and no one has asked me yet when it was going to happen riles and I were planning to go as a group with farkle and lucas but now that riles and lucas are dating which I like to call rucas me and farkle are alone and I'm sure farkle is gonna ask me but I'm saying no to him!! Now riles and I are at champagne and lace picking out prom dresses and later the mall to get our jewellery it's gonna be another hectic day for moi!!
