Chapter 2: Potential Connection?

It has been 14 days since Josh called Tyler. There was no response. In those 12 days, Josh remained in his bedroom, with the curtains closed and the door shut. Hardly leaving, only when completely necessary.

He had broken all his drumsticks 11 days ago, in a fit of anger. He was going to destroy his drum set too.

Josh demolished his drum set 10 days ago. That was the end. He wasn't a drummer anymore, he wasn't 'Joshua Dun, the drummer from twenty one pilots', he was just 'Joshua Dun'.

'Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun from twenty one pilots' became
'Tyler Joseph' and 'Josh Dun' separately.

Joshua Dun rang Tyler Joseph again, 9 days ago, and again, there was no response. It didn't surprise Joshua though, he was used to it. He wished with all his heart, how he could speak to him.

7 days ago, Josh found something at the back of his wardrobe. It was black, with a skeleton pattern on it. All the memories flooded back to Josh. He collapsed to the floor, tears streaming down his face. Suddenly, he began to hack at the item viciously, like he was the predator, and it the prey. It was ruined in a matter of seconds.

Josh fell asleep afterwards.

5 days ago, Josh found an old photo of him and his former best friend, although, Josh still considered Tyler to be his best friend. All day long, he stared deep into the photograph, trying to re-live the memories, to feel happy again.

4 days ago, Josh did nothing but lay in his bed, and stare at the ceiling. He had no thoughts, except one. He didn't want to be without Tyler. So he was going to try and see Tyler, maybe.
