"Wait - so you're actually thinking that Kai was telling the truth that you're the product of a witch and a vampire?"  Luke snorts loudly, his skepticism poorly hidden. As I give a roll of my shoulders awkwardly, Luke gives a cackle of laughter before shaking his head.

After grabbing some Chinese food, Liv, Luke and I made our way to their dorm to snack. I was hungry - being held captive and having my magic drained twice worked me up an appetite. After Elena revealed that her mother is Isobel Flemming, it got me wondering about hypotheticals. If this Isobel were my biological mother like Kai insinuated, it would make us sisters.





"It would explain my being able to read minds and why Elena looks like my long lost twin." I mumble before stuffing in another bite of spicy vegetable lowmein.

"Okay - granted the Elena thing I sort of get, maybe - but the mind thing could just be a manifestation of your Gemini side and your New Orleans coven. Maybe two branches of magic coexisting in one person brought out some new branch of power. Some witches don't have fire and telekinesis, and you can produce both." Liv offers awkwardly, biting onto an eggroll.

I nod, saying nothing else.







"C'mon Ally, Kai was just bullshitting. He was obviously trying to manipulate you against the coven." Luke scoffs.





"Why didn't you guys tell me that I Elena and I look so alike?"





Liv spares me a small shrug. "We told you that you guys look similar - I mean there's some differences-"





"She looks like my walking, talking clone." I interrupt with an annoyed shrug. "Similar is a bit of an understatement, O-liiiviia."




Luke frowns, watching me carefully. "Well one, you're not as whiny as Elena." He offers. "I can't even tell you how many times that girl annoyed me this summer to get her some magical drugs to send her into a high-"




"M'kay, your hair is darker, your eyes are slightly different, and besides that, your boobs are bigger." Liv offers with a nod. "See? You're not identical-"







"Olivia, geese! You don't just say that." Luke groans, covering his eyes in disbelief.





Liv just giggles at his reaction as I throw my fortune cookie at her. "Oh c'mon! They're just boobs, Lucas. Even though you're into guys like we are doesn't mean we can't talk about these things-"






Liv and I erupt in a fit of laughter as Luke grabs a pillow of Liv's bed to chuck at her. She catches it easily, where she takes another bite of her eggroll as we finish our laughing fit.





"Oh, shit." Luke mutters, checking his phone. "I need to pick up that book, we need to be ready." He says to Liv, his jaw clenching tightly.





"What's wrong?" I ask in confusion, not liking how the twins share worried looks.







"Nothing." Liv answers for her brother, suddenly standing. She brushes off her hands before hurrying over to get her jacket. "There's somewhere we have to be, we'll meet you back here around seven. Take a shower, make yourself at home." Liv nods, motioning for her to follow.




"Heeyyy slow it down." I say, waving my hand to shut the door magically. "Luke told me back at Tyler's house you guys have a plan - what is it??"







Liv cocks a brow at Luke, but he shrugs off my concern."Don't worry about it Ally." Luke shrugs, throwing his plate away. "We'll tell you about it tonight." He says, heading towards the door before exiting with Liv.



After locking the door and cleaning up after my messy best friends, I head into the bathroom attached to the dorm, thankful that this university had bathrooms attached to the dorms. It was also incredibly awesome Liv grabbed my bag to bring to her dorm - slipping on a comfy pair of pj's and a baggy sweatshirt seemed like a brilliant plan for the night.
The shower was nice and relaxing. Hot water cascaded down my back, relaxing aching muscles while also clearing my mind. It was too confusing to think about my resemblance the girl named Elena.
