Chappie song: "Blame" by John Newman
Alyssa POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm not sure how long it took me to fall asleep. After a few hours, I could've sworn I felt Kai shift farther down the bed before a finger gently caressed my cheek for a brief moment - I wrote that off as lack of sleep along with imagining things. The alternative to me was too bizarre. Kai Parker watching me sleep? I'm not sure whether I would've thought that romantic or frightening.
I lightly stirred as my shame eventually got to me. It was still dark outside -  only small shades of light shown out the window indicating it was barely dawn. There's a soreness to my body, pleasant aches fill me along with a massive headache that can only be the ugly product of my hangover. Suddenly, a hand under my back clenches lightly against my soft skin.
My tired eyes bolt open wide as I slowly recall the events of yesterday, wincing in horror at the memory of what exactly it was that I did. I lost my virginity to a murderous witch.
Kai's arm lays under my bare back as his hand is gently wrapped around my torso. I'm about to do a cloaking spell on myself before I catch what he looks like when he's fast asleep. He looks younger while sleeping - there's no evil glint to his eye, no hidden homicidal tendencies. He looks nearly angelic - absolutely beautiful, even. I catch myself slightly mesmerized by his sleeping figure, semi wanting to lay myself down beside him acting as though I never stirred.
Kai Parker is truly my very own blue-eyed devil.
After successfully cloaking myself, I hurry out of the bed to retrieve my articles of clothing that was thrown around the room last night.
Shame fills me to no end.
I was lucky that the vampire who previously owned the apartment had jackets. It was cold outside as I walked, and I had forgotten  my shirt had been ripped horribly after my encounter with the three drunk men at the bar. By the time I walked all the way back to Liv and Luke's dorm, the sun was out showing it was maybe eight in the morning.
There was certain irony to leaving Kai fast asleep in the bed - ditching before someone woke up seemed like something he would do. I wouldn't have thought he'd been someone to not only stay in a bed with a girl all night, but also someone who kept her close to him while he slept as well.
I'm about to knock on the door before  it opens revealing Liv and Luke already dressed for the day. Liv jumps in startled surprise upon seeing me, as does Luke.
"Ally?! What the hell??? We thought something happened to you!" Liv exclaims hotly, causing Luke to shush her.
"Geese sis, it's barely eight." Luke snaps, dark circles under his eyes. Soon, he turns on me as well. "Where the hell have you been, and why haven't you called us?"
I watch my friends in amusement, automatically reminded of the time I accidently broke curfew as a teenager and was reprimanded by my parents.
 "My....phone got lost after a scuffle...I went to a bar and drank my troubles away." I mutter, leaving out the very big detail that I was saved after being nearly gang raped, and that I went on to have passionate witch-sex with their older brother. It was a damn good thing the twins couldn't read my worried thoughts, I'd have stunned them into a stupor.
"Drinking?!" Liv snaps. "Alyssa, you know you can only handle so much rum  - where the hell have you....." Liv pauses mid rant, eyeing me suspiciously. She looks to my hair, and then to my face, her blue eyes suddenly narrowing. "You have sex hair."
Eyes widening, I allow my hand to wander up to my hair to find it's in a tangled dismay.
Luke rolls his eyes heavily. "Olivia, she doesn't have sex hair. That's called being out all night and falling into a drunk stupor." He answers in a duh tone, dragging the both of us back into the room before shutting the door magically.
Liv eyes me suspiciously, before walking over to me carefully. I feel like squirming under her steely gaze - it's like she automatically knows something really bad happened. Part of me wondered if what happened with Kai was truly considered bad - it felt amazing - pure electric and dare I even admit it, magical.
