11-year old Lucille woke up. She stared out of her window. The sky was pale gray. The sun would be up soon. Then, she jumped out of bed. Lucille changed into a puffed short sleeve white shirt with black leggings and a green and blue plaid skirt. She put her hair into two ponytails. Then, she crept down the hall and went outside into her garden using the back door. Her pet parakeet, Kelly warbled a tune. "Why hello,Kelly," said Lucille. Then, she fed Kelly some apple slices before heading into the woods to meet her friends in the time machine's cave.
