Gabby ~ We're home at last! Brad's parents are treating us all to dinner tonight, so make sure you and Brad get ready after school! We can't wait to see you! Love Mom&Dad
"We're going out to dinner." I turned around and pushed Brad the note as well as his bagel.
"Awesome." He smiled. "I wonder what our parents are going to think about us living together while dating."
"Well if it was anyone else I'd have been murdered in my sleep, so I'm not sure." I smiled and sat down next to him. "Hurry up or we're going to be late."
"You're in a good mood this morning." He noted.
"I just can't wait to see the look on Tasha's fcae when she sees us together. I really can't wait to shove it in that stupid chav's face."
"I can tell." He leaned over and kissed me before finishing his bagel. When he'd finished we got into the car and took off for school. I took his hand and walked into the building with him. Aparently all the student's had heard about our fight and the 'break up,' because they were all whispering and looked amazed to see us walk in the building hand in hand. I ignored them for the first time in weeks and it was as if they didn't even exist - it was just us. Tasha was at her locker when we walked by, and she turned at the mutters and looked my in the eyes. I dare you to say something, bitch.
I opened my locker so that it folded into her's so she didn't have very much room and I pulled out the books that I needed and turned back to Brad. He laughed silently and put his arm around me. I slammed my locker shut in Tasha's face and we walked off to our first period.
I put my book back onto the shelf and turned around. I jumped back into the shelf with surprise.
"What the hell is your problem?" Tasha spat through gritted teeth.
"Coming from the girl who used me." I walked past her, our shoulders hitting each other's. As I reached out for my bag, her arm snapped out and took it from me, holding it behind her. "Give me the bag, Tasha."
"Then tell me what the hell your problem is!" She demanded.
"You used me to get Brad! You even kept up with it when you found out that he and I both liked each other! Now you can tell me, Tasha - what kind of friend does that?"
"You knew I liked him!"
"Well when you tell me to play him, it kind of gives the impression you're over it. I told you how I felt, but you never told me the truth. I was honest with you through this whole goddamn thing, so you can just fuck off!" I forgot to keep my voice down. There were groups of students around us, watching. She flung she hand at me like she was about to slap me, but I snatched her hand out of the air and slapped her across the face.
"Stay away from my boyfriend, bitch." I turned around an walked out of the room to find Brad.
"So you slapped her?" He laughed. "God, I wish I had been there to see that." He puled on the top of his tuxcedo.
"Yeah." I smiled and turned around. "What do you think?" He whisteled.
"I think that if your parents weren't going to be home we'd have quite the night." I grinned down at my red dress, feeling a bit giddy.
"Maybe once they go to sleep." I kissed him before following him out the car to the restraunt.
Our parents were sitting at a table in the back of the restraunt outside on a patio. The floor was brick, and the vintage style of the restraunt really mad it stand out around town and be the place everyone wanted to eat at. Everyone that could afford it, that is.
Brad puled out my chair for me and I sat down after hugging my parents. He squeezed my hand and sat down next to me.
"How was the trip, mum?" I asked, hooking my leg to Brad's under the table. I caught him trying to hold back a smile and bit my lip, taking a sip of the wine my parents had ordered.
"Very nice. Time change as rough, though But once you get past that it was amazing." She said.
"You two would've loved it!" Brad's Dad said. "While we were in Rome we got to see a lot of museums as well as the colluseum."
"Sounds like we missed a good time." Brad shot me a look and I felt his hand on my knee I smiled and nodded.
"We had fun here, too, though." I added.
"The Installers are done with the first floor of their house, but they still need to do the second floor where all their rooms are, so they'll still be with us for the next week, dependingon how long it takes." My Mom said, giving me a knowing nod.
"Sweet." Brad and I said together. I blushed and cut into my steak.
Our parents had to run out to the office to turn in some of the reports from the trip, so Brad and I ran home. I closed my bedroom door behind me and turned off the lights.
"I can't wait to see Tasha at school tomorrow." I head him say from his seat on my bed. I kicked off my heels and stepped out of my dress.
"She's going to pay for what she did." I pushed his shoulders down against the pillows and he pulled me down on top of him, wrapping his arms around my bare back.
"Tasha's helping with the freshman gym glass. That means she has to dress out with them." I said, flipping through my messages with Tasha in my iPhone.
"What's the plan?"
"Right now I'm going to trim the back of her jeans." I pulled the shiny silver scissors our of my bag and snipped them in front of his nose.
"Woah!" He laughed. "Careful there."
"Shh!" The librarian snapped, not having the balls to tell me to get off of Brad's lap. I glanced over at her and turned my attention right back to my boyfriend. He kissed me.
"Careful." I said. "She might actually say something." I snickered.
"Or blow a vein." He laughed. I bit his lower lip and stood up.
"Gotta go." I smiled and snipped the scizors at him before walking towards the door of the library. I looked back as I opened the door and caught a glimpse of the longing expression on his fae. I smiled once more and blew him a kiss as I closed the door. Bard got up and jogged out after me.
"I'm coming with you." He wrapped his arms around my waist from behind, and we walked a ways before he put his arms around my neck and led me to the gym.
"Be right back." I walked into the gym as soon as Tash led the freshman out the doors to go onto the fields, and went into the locker room. Brad was standing outside the door to the bathroom, ready to let me know if she came back in. I pulled on her pants and marked with sharpie where I was going to cut, then changed back and cut the jeans over the trash can., I replaced the jeans and covered up my clippingd with moist paper towels before walking out into Brad's arms.
"Let's go ahead up to lunch and wait for the wicked witch up there with the guys." He said.
"M'kay." I kissed him. Was it possible that I had changed him completely? There had been no doubt in my mind about it last night, but now that we were in school instead of my bed, what if it was all a show?
No. I told myself. He loves you.
He hasn't said that!
He cares. He's stuck with me though all of this.
What if it's another bet? Like with what happened with Mike Harsel in your freshman year? I grimaced at my own words. Mike's friends had bet him that he could't get me to sleep with him by his birthday, and whn he hadn't, he dumped me on the spot. The whole thing had been a show, and he'd been a damn good actor.
What if Brad was lying? He couldn't be. I thought as I kissed him.
