Cal:
It was a quiet day at the Hood household. Darcy wasn't feeling too well and Ben spent the day at his friends place. You and your husband Calum were sitting outside in the garden with Calum entertaining baby Lukas because it was a wonderful day. "Shouldn't he start to talk now?" Calum looked at you. "I mean the other two started talking after like 6 and 7 months and he still isn't talking. It's been 8 almost 9 months." He sounded kind of worried.
"It's all ok Cal. That's different from child to child. Some start early some start later." You heard the patio door being opened and closed again. Darcy who's been sleeping on the sofa came over to you and sat down on your lap, hiding her face in the crook of your neck. "Not feeling better sweetie?" You asked her and she simply shook her head no. Teddy who was relaxing in the sun walked over to Darcy and started to lick her. The girl started to laugh.
"Teddy. You never fail to make us laugh." Calum said.
"Tewwy." Suddenly all your eyes where fixed on Lukas.
"Did he just..? He definitely is your son Calum. Knows the dogs name before anything else." Lukas repeated the word he just learned over and over again and even made his sister feel a little better.

Ash:
"Say 'Daddy' Brook. Come on. I know you can do it. Come on say daddy." Ashton was sitting in the living room trying to teach your youngest daughter her first word. But so far it didn't work too well. Different than him you didn't stress about it. Whenever it happened it would happen. You where trying to clean up the house instead. Jas had the second Hood child Ben over and they were leaving a mess everywhere they went. "Y/N why doesn't she say daddy? Can't she just listen to me." Ashton complained when you walked into the living room. "Ash, babe give her a break! You've been doing this with her all morning and afternoon. She will talk at one point. It'd be better if you tell your oldest daughter and her friend to clean up after them because slowly but surely I'm starting to freak out with those two." And right in that moment they came running through the doors. Ben trying to catch Jas. Who knows why.
"Jas! Ben!" Ashton said but they didn't listen. "HEY!" He screamed and now they turned around. "Jas, you have to learn how to clean up after y-" "Jas!" Brook giggled. "Jas. Jas." She repeated and clapped her hands. Ashton couldn't believe it. Brook just said her first word. "See Ash I told you give her a break." You went over to give him and Brook each a kiss. "And now you two little monsters go clean up Jas' room or else there won't be Pizza for dinner. Within seconds Jas and Ben were gone because nothing worse then to risk a Pizza-Dinner.

Luke:
You were all new to this and had no idea how it worked. But there was one thing you knew for sure: Theo should have already started talking. Luke and you both knew that he was developing a little slower than most children but the doc said that it was all fine. But he also said Theo should be starting to talk any time now. Which was about three weeks ago when you went to the monthly check ups.
Luke was at the studio recording tonight. Earlier that day you decided to put all your work down for the day and simply concentrate on your baby boy. "Why won't you talk my little precious boy?" You held him close to you while he was playing with your hair. "I hope you know daddy and mummy love you no matter what." You look to the front door when it slowly opened to show your totally stressed husband walking in. "Look! Daddy is home." Luke looked at the two of you with tired and frustrated eyes. You knew  what it meant. "I think daddy had a really bad day today." Theo started to clap his hands. "Dada." You both were shocked and couldn't believe what just happened. "Dada." Theo said again and stretched out his hands for Luke to take him. "Dada." Luke came over to the two of you and took his son from you. His eyes now shining with proudness. "Dada." Theo said again and cuddled closer to his daddy. You were speechless. "Nothing better than coming home to this." Luke said, gave you a kiss and cuddled closer to you with the biggest smile on his face.

Michael:
You were in the kitchen with Summer while Michael was playing a video game in the living room with Dustin next to him on the sofa.
"Fuck." You heard yet again coming for his direction. "Michael. Would you please not!"
"It wasn't me babe!" You actually had to laugh about his answer. "If you don't stop using curs words all the time it will eventually be one of the twins' first thing they say." For the next few minutes it was silent. Summer was helping you finish the dinner and set the table. "Would the two gentlemen now please join us for the dinner." You asked Michael sarcastically. And Michael being Michael say at the table ready to eat within less than a second. "Your second favourite meal. Spaghetti." You smiled at him and put him some on his plate. "Be caref-"
"Holy cow that's still hot." Michael interrupted you running to the kitchen for a glass of water. Dustin looked at you as if having a mental conversation and you'd lie saying you didn't see the next one coming. "Fuck." Dustin said. Michael came out of the kitchen with an embarrassed look on his face. "Did our son did just..?" "Oh yes Michael he did and he better not use this word ever again or your going to sleep on the sofa for a while."
"Mummy!" Summer said and clapped her hands. "See our daughter is agreeing and by far using a better word as her first one than her brother!"
