Chapter 7

"Alec" I say staring at my brother as he leans against the wall with his arms crossed casually.

"Something must be getting to you if you beating the punching bag until its ready to break." says Alec walking towards me.

"It's link, twice in two says he's ended up in hospital, what has he ever done to be hurt like this." I say sighing in frustration.

"I don't know storm but you shouldn't taking it upon your self to worry let the police handle it, now go get some sleep you have school in the morning"
Says alec

With one last hug I made my way to bed after taking a shower to get rid of the smell.

The next morning I woke up to my bed being empty and link nowhere in the room before I managed to get out of bed the door to the bathroom opens and link walks out with his towel hanging low upon his waist showing his very defined structure and a small tattoo just visible on his v line of a bird, quickly covering my eyes I say "put some clothes on please." I plead making link chuckle in his boyish tone

Walking towards me link stood in front of me "I saw you staring at me and I'm flattered." says link with his signature smile

Still covering my eyes I was now hiding my red cheeks in embarrassment.

"Please put some clothes on" I plead still embarrassed

With one last chuckle link grabbed his pants putting them on still leavi g his chest visible for me to see "your so innocent it's funny." chuckled link.

"I am not!" i says in annoyance

"Really have you even had your first kiss." says link eying me.

"No.."

"Have you had sex?" asked link cocking an eyebrow.

"No."

"Exactly you couldn't even look at a shirtless guy."

"I i..." I couldn't get any words out until it hit me all at once "you may know the shy innocent girl who wears glasses and keeps her head in the books but you know nothing of my life." I couldn't believe I just said that.

"Come on we should get to school." says link smiling to himself putting his shirt on .

Climbing into the car I drive us to school quietly humming to the music before parking getting out of the car opening the door for link and his injured self.

Locking the car I made my way into school walking to my English class I was greeted by Lucy "did I hear that you drove link Davidson to school?" questions Lucy as she took a seat by me. "yeah I drove him his dad asked me to, links not allowed to drive until he's better." I say looking around the room to see if I can see anything suspicious.

Looking around the room I found myself focused on Ryan as he secretly texted someone on the phone.
Soon after the door to my English classroom opened and a kid maybe 16 with blonde hair and blue eyes with a shy appearance to him.

"Hey bobby over here!" yells Ryan confusing me.

Scrunching my brow in confusion I have this strange feeling in my stomach like I know him but I don't know a bobby or a Robert why does he look so familiar?

Leaning over to Lucy I ask "who's is that kid?"

"Oh that's bobby he started school yesterday."

"Wasn't I as school yesterday?" I question

"No you haven't been here since Tuesday you had the day off yesterday."

Scrunching my brows in confusion I texted link.
STORM- how long was I asleep?

LINK- almost a day you must of really been tired.

Staring at my phone in shock I look to the sealing and sigh before messaging link again

STORM- why didn't you wake me up?

LINK- you looked peaceful I didn't want to ruin that.

Suddenly the bell rang and I made my way out of class.

Walking down the hall something catches my eye more like someone catches my eye looking to the side link looks to me with a shy smile.

Smiling back I continued down the hallway to my next class but as I continued down the empty corridor I began to here talking, slowly poping my head around the corner so I can't be seen I listen in on Ryan and Bobby's conversation...

"Why is he still here?" questioned bobby

"Sorry the fire was supposed to get him but it didn't someone is interfering lyric is that why he sent you" says Ryan

Lyric.. no it can't be... can it... no he's dead he died its not him.
The bell rang and Ryan and lyric (bobby) ran off to class.

Making my way to class I was distracted by what I just heard, was that lyric, was he my brother no he can't be he died and if it is why is he trying to kill link.

I was so distracted that I didn't realize that there was someone walking straight for me to late to defend myself I fell to the ground and I collided with a hard chest looking up to find Ryan.

"Watch where your going pipsqueak" says Ryan looking down at me before walking off.

One day I will get him for everything I thought standing from the ground.

Not being able to get to next class without getting in trouble I went to the nurses office.

"Storm what can I do for you?" asked nurse Ellen as I took a seat on the bed.

"I'm not feeling very well" I say but in reality the fall to the floor made me land on my burn and I was In a large amount of pain

"Well get some rest Ill let you get some sleep as I go get some supplies." says nurse Ellen closing the door to the first aid room.

Quickly moving from the bed I made my way to the filing draws and began looking for a name until I found it.
