Tobin was on the phone with Alex's mom discussing plans for tomorrow. Mother's Day was tomorrow and Tobin and Alex talked about them celebrating it with Pam Morgan. Since Tobin was not ok having them together again after what her parents pulled.
"Hi Pam! This is Tobin! So I know that we were going to go out for brunch tomorrow for Mother's Day, but I think Alex has a fever." Tobin stated
"Oh no! Is she okay? What is her temperature? Should I come to your house?" Pam asked
"No. It's not that serious. She has a fever of 101.6 so she is feeling pretty bad but I can take care of her!" Tobin replied
"Ok that sounds good dear." Pam said
"Because of Mother's Day how about we celebrate next Sunday?" Tobin asked
"I'll let you know about that! I'm not sure if I have plans. I'll call you back soon." Pam replied
"Ok! Talk to you soon. Bye!" Tobin said
Tobin went tithe store and got everything that Alex would need to feel better. When she got home she made her some soup and went upstairs.
"Babe? How are you feeling?" Tobin asked when she saw Alex in their bed
"Pretty sucky" Alex pouted
"I'm sorry. I made you some soup. Want some?" Tobin asked
"Sure. I'll have a little." Alex replied
Tobin snuggled close to Alex and gave her the soup. They sat in silence a few minutes.
"I called your mom and asked if we can move Mother's Day to next week. She said she will call back" Tobin said
"Tobs! You know we are leaving next week for New Jersey! We should call her now! How did you forget?" Alex said
"Omg! I completely forgot. She sounded so sad I didn't think about it. Where's your phone I'll call her." Tobin said
Alex handed Tobin her phone and they listened to the ringing
"Hello honey! How are you feeling? Tobin better be taking care of you!" Pam joked
"Hahah she is mom! There's no better caretaker! So mom, Tobin being Tobin completely forgot that we are going to New Jersey next week! I'm sorry about Mother's Day by the way."
"Oh sweetie don't be sorry! There is always next year!" Pam said
"Actually I had something else in mind mom! How about you and Tobin spend tomorrow together? You know she will be your daughter-in-law soon." Alex said
Tobin gave her a weird look and tried to say no without Pam hearing.
"Alex who is going to take care of you?" Pam asked
"I'll call Kelley here! She wouldn't mind. We haven't talked in forever." Alex said
"Well ok then! I'll be spending Mother's Day with my future daughter. Tell her to meet me at Jaclyn café for brunch! Goodbye sweetheart. I love you" Pam said
"Love you too mom!" Alex said and hung up
Tobin looked at Alex a little annoyed.
"Why did you do that? I want to take care of you. And you know she is a little skeptical of me because I didn't ask for her blessings to marry you!" Tobin said
"Oh please Tobin! She loves you. She just doesn't want me hurt! Baby I'll be here when you get back. And I've been sick when you weren't around!" Alex replied
