Gerard ran into his room, full of heartache and cheeks stained with tears. He couldn't bear it anymore. Frank killed himself just a few hours ago and Gerard blamed himself. All he had left was Mikey, his younger brother, since Ray was in the hospital from a car crash and in a coma he couldn't seem to get out of since five months ago.

So long to all my friends

Every one of them has met tragic ends

"Why Frankie?" Gerard muffled into his pillow. Everything had gone so great. Gerard asked Frank to be his boyfriend and he'd said yes. Mikey finally got to be with Alicia and Ray's condition was subdued.

With every passing day

I'd be lying if I didn't say

That I miss them all tonight

Frank and Gerard were at the peak of their lives. Everyone was happy and life seemed perfect. Nothing at all could ruin all they had.

And if they only knew what I would say

But in just four hours, his world came crashing down. Frank had finally given in to all his temptations and overdosed after several cuts along his arms. Mikey suddenly plummeted into depression after Alicia broke his heart when she confessed to cheating. And Ray, poor little Ray. He was almost relieved of his coma when his heart rate was on a rollercoaster.

Gerard struggled up on his feet and frantically wrote in his sketchbook. He sighed in despair and broke into heavy sobs.

One day, I'll lose this fight

As we fade in the dark

There was no stopping Gerard's sobs. He truly did have shitty luck with life. His boyfriend and best friend were basically dead and Mikey almost never left the house. Not even his room.

Just remember to will always burn as bright

"It's never going to end, is it?" Gerard spoke softly after he stopped his crying. He sniffled and flipped through his sketchbook. Most of the pages were exclusively Frank. Drawings of his lip with the piercing, his light brown eyes that would makes everything feel better, especially Gerard.

Be strong and hold my hand

Time becomes for us, you'll understand

Flash backs of happier memories flooded Gerard's mind as reality managed to seep through and be forgotten for a moment.

"Oh, hello Frank. Take a seat next to Gerard, I'll introduce you to the class as you sit down."

"Hi Frank! I'm Gerard, but you can call me Gee." Gerard gave him a friendly smile.

Frank timidly nodded in acknowledgement and began rummaging through his backpack.

"Hey Frank!" Gee smiled at Frank as they met once again in the cafeteria room.

"O-oh, hi Gee!" Frank's face turned a slight pink before he bit his lip.

"Um, do you want to sit with me during lunch? I'd hate to see you alone." Gee smirked but quickly changed back to his cheery expression.
