I decided that we would go for a last minute shopping. To shop 5 days before Christmas was last minute - to us.

Leo was driving when the children at the back were discussing about their Christmas wish list. Well, more like telling us their Christmas wish list.

"What do you want for Christmas, Taewoo?"
"I want a pair of new soccer shoes"
"What?!"
"A PAIR OF NEW SOCCER SHOES!!"

The children chuckled together.

"How about you, Aecha?"
"I want a new keyboard"

Oh yeah. Coming to think of it, Aecha's keyboard in the living room, was mine in high school. I did thought of buying her a new one.

I took a glance at Leo's face while driving. That was odd, he was slightly smiling.

We promised to meet appa and omma at the food court of the mall.

"Halmoni, harabuji!" The children ran to their grandparents.

"Aigoo eorinni, don't run" Omma patted Aecha and Taewoo's head.

"Aecha, Taewoo, you guys will be doing your shopping for Christmas with halmoni and harabuji okay? Omma and appa have some works to do.  Do you still have the money omma gave this morning?" They nodded in unison. Kyeowo.

Leo suddenly stepped to appa and whispered something. Appa nodded. I wonder what were they whispering about.

As we were walking aimlessly, Leo put his left arm over my shoulder, keeping my body close to his. His right hand was in his right pocket.

"Oppa, what did you whispered to appa just now?" I asked, looking at him.

"I asked appa to distract the children from going to the 3rd level . The shops for their presents will be there." I mouthed an O while he laughed at my reaction. Did I married a perfectionist for he had everything prepared?

"So now where are we going?"

"The sports' shop" Again, I mouthed an O. We must be buying Taewoo a new pair of soccer shoes.

I have no idea about the design or whatever so I just leave everything in Leo's hand. I sat on the stool and observed him.

He went to the first shelf. Scanning it. Then he found one. He took it. Looking at it's every detail fro quality. Turn it upside down. And put it back on the shelf.

He was doing that repeatedly until he has reached the second last shelf. When he turned to his back, I wasn't there. Of course, I didn't move from my position at the 1st shelf while Leo, perhaps unconsciously, moved till the 9th shelf.

He grabbed a shoe on display and walked my way. I saw his eyes were glistening. Whatever the questions he might asked, I couldn't say no.

He pass the display shoe to me. It was a reflective white coloured shoe, with a black Nike logo on the side and a fade gray coloured pattern. The sole of the shoe was pretty. The sole was neon blue (IDK how to describe it) and from a far it looked like jelly (http://cdn3.volusion.com/goz35.avhz4/v/vspfiles/photos/SM-NI631423-104-2.jpg?1387191612)

I just simply nodded at his choice and he smiled broadly. I heard him asking the salesman if they have that exact same shoe but adult size. When the salesman said yes, I was very sure Leo was jumping over the moon.

After Leo had paid for both pairs, we made our way to a musical instrument shop, Music Empire. There, from afar, I saw keyboards and pianos. I couldn't contain my excitement so I just rapidly paced to the keyboards and started to look at them one by one.

I always said that Aecha got her talent from her appa. Well, I did played piano too. But I wasn't as good as Leo.

It was just several minutes later that I discovered that Leo wasn't with me. He was pressing notes on some pianos, he was checking the tune, I guess. And then, his eyes were caught by the appearance of an off-white coloured grand piano. He was caressing the body of the piano when a salesman approached him.

"Ahjussi, you have a great taste for a grand piano" the salesman said. Leo was wearing a surgical mask that we often got from clinics if we have coughs or flu, so I bet the salesman didn't recognize him. Even just from the eyes, I knew Leo was pulling his expressionless-but-i-actually-hate-you face. So, I went and stood next to him to be in charge in case Leo cruelly let the salesman talk alone.

"Are you a pianist, ahjussi?" Both Leo and I nodded.

"I figured it out" He smiled at me and Leo before his hands were busy lifting the lid and the lid props. He signaled Leo to sit at the piano's bench.

"Ahjussi, you may play with the piano, and see if it suits you" He smiled before going off. Leo sat there froze for a moment, thinking what song would he wanted to play. And just then, he began pressing the notes, creating a melody.

(press the media I attached up there, roughly 38 seconds of Leo singing Eyes, Nose, Lips by Taeyang)

He was so deeply into his singing that he actually caught many people's attention in less than 1 minute.

One thing that people didn't know about Jung Leo, is that he can never stand listening to people praising him. As you can expect, people were praising his voice, his skills in that short 38 seconds of Jung Leo's free performance. But then again, no one knew it was him. So he just bowed shyly and grabbed my arms so that we were away from the people.

"Are you buying that grand piano?" Leo was fanning himself while I helped him too. The praising made him sweat out of nervous. He just nodded.

"But oppa, our house is currently too small for it, where would you ..." He put his finger on my lips to shut me then went off to the payment counter. Hish, this guy.

"Haaaaa ommaaaa, I am so tired, I think I will die." Taewoo rolled on the mat in the living room with his shopping bags.

Leo also came in and lie down beside him. He was exhausted as well.

"Aigoo, you two are the only men-power in the house, how can you guys came in and roll on the mat without helping us with the bags?"I suddenly came in and nagged. Omo, ever since I became a mother, I have been developing a new skill; nagging non stop for a period of time.

"Jagi~" Leo called. I looked at him when he lift his head.

"You talk too much" and he put his head back on the floor. I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. Instead of waking up, he put the pillow under his head and shifted Taewoo's head on his arm.

"Omma, no use of nagging. Taewoo and appa won't listen" My only child who understood me, Aecha came in with her own shopping bags.

I helped Aecha to carry Taewoo's bags to their room and proceeded to mine for a nap.
