Cold at Night [ COMPLETED ]

3 Days before Christmas! (NEW VERSION)

(a/n) You are working at the Jung's company. Rather than being recruited as one of the CEOs, you wanted to start low.

As we know, Uncle Jung Jungwoo or Leo's appa is the Chairman of the company. Thus Leo is one of the CEOs. Leo wanted you as one of the CEOs but you declined, saying that it is unfair. So at this moment, you needed to do a presentation  for you to be promoted as one of the CEOs.

I flipped through my notebook. So, 2nd January would be the day for my presentation. And I would be the first to present among the candidates. Appa and the other CEOs, except Leo would be evaluating me.

I knew how Appa works. When it comes to work, family or not, as long as you are a staff, you will be treated equally like others. Which means, if I don't excel in this presentation, I can kiss my promotion goodbye.  OMG. Why did my head felt so heavy. Resting my head on the table might help.

I was in my prep week. The only week where I can enter the office or work anywhere I want for the sake of preparing for the presentation. I need to excel this presentation. Leo promised me already.

"Jagi, if you can pass appa'and other CEOs evaluation and get yourself promoted to one of them, oh no, that is too high, one of the General Managers, I will bring you somewhere, only the two of us"

The deal was somehow tempting. I really need to get away from the city. Plus form the way Leo said it, I felt like he mocked me by saying me being promoted to one of the CEOs is too high. I will show him. But really, how could I possibly prepare with a house like this?

Taewoo running around with a teddy bear in his hand. Aecha chasing Taewoo for stealing her teddy bear. And they were running around the dining area. I thought choosing to do my work here was good since I could keep an eye on the children. But it turned out really bad. And I didn't even have the energy to stop the children.

Leo was not home to help me. He got schedule this morning and I didn't know when would he be back. My eyes were getting very heavy.

"Children, don't make so much noise, omma is tired" I heard Leo's voice. And I opened my eyes while my head was still on the table.

"You're up?" I shooked, I really needed some sleep. Leo carried me upstairs and placed me on the bed.

"Sleep for a while, 30 minutes, I will wake you up" As he was about to leave, I called him.

"Oppa~" He turned and came back to me.

"Please lie down for a while" I said weakly. He dipped in and made sure I was sleeping to ebergize myself.

"Jagi,ireona" Leo cooed at my ears. I stretched and asked him how long have I been sleeping.

"One hour" WHAT? ONE HOUR? it was already 6p.m. OMG how on earth was I going to do my work. My body was feeling weak. I might got fever.

Leo, again, lifted me to the bathroom and told me to sit on the stool he provided earlier. I knew what he was going to do. He was going to bathe me.

"But oppa, it's so cold" I pleaded him but he ignored.

With my tee and short on, he began showering me with the cold water. He shampooed my hair and gave me a massage on my neck.

He then let me to scrub my body on my own. I saw his face gone all red. I knew he was trying hard to resist me. He had to resist for the sake of my work.

After the shower, I felt so refreshed. I wore another tee and a long pants. Leo dried and combed my hair. It has been a while since the last time he did this. He was busy with his schedule, me with my classes and my daily activities.

"Thank you, oppa" I smiled as I hang the towels.

We went downstairs and saw Taewoo and Aecha were watching cartoons. Just then I remembered that I haven't prepare dinner.

I went to the kitchen followed by Leo who was staring at me.

"What?"

"Go and continue your work at the table. The kids won't be too noisy at this hour. I will do the cooking" He pushed me out of the kitchen. Okay. So I went back to the table and started to study.

(Leo's POV)

Before I started cooking, I saw Eyra went upstairs, so I went to the children.

"Aecha, Taewoo, listen up appa has something to say" I sat on the couch.

"Nae appa" They answered in unison.

"For this one whole month, or less, Omma is going to be in her tough time. For this week, Omma will have no work outside of the house, while Appa have to go for work outside. So In the day, Omma will be taking care of you and also do her work at the table, like now" I paused for them to digest the words.

"So, in the night, Appa will come home and cook, like now, so that omma can focus to her work. And appa will also take care of both of you" They nodded.

"Appa need your help when appa is not around. Both of you cannot make noise, cannot bother omma with her work and try as best as you can not to interrupt omma. Can you?"

"Nae appa, yakseo" The children held their pinkies for pinky promises. I just hope that they would really understand.

(Eyra's POV)

Leo cooked western food today. Well, luckily he knew how to cook. After dinner, he told the kids to go upstairs and read their storybooks or play with their toys. I knew he was getting rid of them from my sight.

I was so focused in working that suddenly someone tapped my shoulder. He put a cup of hot chocolate for me.

"Take a rest. It has been one hour and half since you started" Leo sat in front of me. I closed the files and took a sip of the hot chocolate.

"Do you have schedules tomorrow?" He nodded while I mouthed an O and flipped through my notes. I still have some more report and things to look through. That would take around 1 or 2 more hours.

"Oppa, you can go to sleep first. I know you're tired" Leo shooked his head and remained his position.

So I continued my work after I finished my hot chocolate.

YEAY! I finally finished preparing for part 1. I stretched out and saw Leo sleeping in front of me.

Aww.. how cute he was. Waiting for me until he fell asleep even though he had early schedule tomorrow.

I quickly kept my things in my bag and went to the kitchen to wash my cup. I was so astonished that Leo even cleaned the kitchen for me. No wonder he was tired.

I went to him and knelt down. I caressed his back while called for him.

"Oppa, oppa. Wake up, you can't sleep here, you will have backache. Come, let's go up" His eyes were squinted.

"Have you finished?" His soft voice asking me. I nodded. Then I helped him who was walking with closed eyes, like a child to our room.

I tucked him under the blanket and lie next to him. I watched as he slowly sank in his dream. I turned the other way to sleep. Just then, I felt something was snaking at my waist. He pulled me to his body and whispered something.

"Jalja, jagiya" I smiled and closed my eyes.
