Cold at Night [ COMPLETED ]

Christmas Eve

Yesterday I invited Vixx over for Christmas Eve. The same thing I did to omma and appa, Yoomi and Gyu, also Sara and Namjoon. For now, these are my family.

I was well prepared this time. I had roasted chickens, with grilled meat, curry ddeobokki, jjajangmyeon and several more dishes being brought by Yoomi.

All of them arrived in the evening for dinner. I wanted them to spend the night at our home, but haven't asked them yet.

After dinner, all of us were in the living room.

"Oppa, can't we ask them to just spend the night here?" I whispered to Leo. He shrugged, meaning he didn't know if they would stay.

"Omma, appa, do you have anything tomorrow?" I asked omma while massaging her shoulder.

"I think, no, right, yeobo?" Omma looked at appa for confirmation.

"Nae, we don't have anything. Wae?" Appa was munching an apple.

"Eyra thought that omma and appa would like to stay here. In fact, she wants all of you to stay here" Leo explained to all.

"HYUNG, THAT WOULD BE SO GREAT" Hyuk climbed to Hakyeon's back. I laughed at his excited behavior.

"Nae, N hyung, furthermore, we didn't have any schedule for tomorrow. And we can go back to our hometown tomorrow. It's already late to travel now" Hongbin adding some more convincing points while Ravi, already gone with Taewoo.

"I will think about it" Hakyeon nodded, giving Hyuk and Hongbin high hopes.

"Omma and Appa should stay, it's dangerous for you two to drive home at late night" Leo convincing his parents.

"Well.. Eyra-ah, we don't know if you can manage our big family. I mean, we really wanted to stay but we have 5 children. We didn't want to trouble you" Yoomi was giving me the apologetic look. Leo caressed my arm, signaling to me 'it's okay'.

"True Eyra-ah, we afraid RiRa (Gyu and Yoomi's twin babies' name) might give you trouble to sleep tonight. They wake up in the nights quiet frequent you know" I nodded. But still, I was feeling sad.

So, it was decided that only 5Vixx, omma and appa, Sara and Namjoon only will be staying. Sara and Namjoon agreed even earlier than everyone else.

Omma and appa had already gone to sleep. It's normal for them to sleep early than everyone else. Sara and Namjoon had also entered the guest room next to omma and appa's room. Taewoo and Aecha had gone up after their cousins had gone home.

The 5 Vixx insisted that they wanted to sleep in the living room. Well, marrying a man who is always prepared, it was not a problem for us to provide the 5 Vixx with mattress, pillows and blankets.

I wanted to bring the mattress downstairs when Leo as fast as lightning stole the mattress of my hands.

"What was that for?" He just went downstairs and threw the mattresses on the 5Vixx on the floor.

"Yah, hyung! What the hell" Ken was drowning under the mattresses.

"Your mattresses" He said in his chic way. Come on, Leo. It's bedtime already, no need to be so chic.

"Oh really, thanks Leo. I wouldn't realize what it is if you haven't told me" Hakyeon was being sarcastic.

The boys were already settling when Leo turned the lights off.

"Jaljayo yeorabun (goodnight everyone) Sleep tight okay?" I wished them goodnight and went upstairs with Leo.

"Oppa, why did you take the mattress off my hand just now?" I turned my body to his side.

"I can't possibly risk our small life in here" He tickled me. I laughed until I was out of breath.

"Hahaha. Stop it, oppa. I'm going to die here" I pushed him softly. He smiled.

Just then he took me into his arms and starts humming a soft melody for me to sleep.

"Merry Christmas, oppa. Saranghae" I whispered to him.

"Merry Christmas, jagi" He kissed my forehead and continue to serenade me until I slept.
