The both of you finished breakfast early. Thomas decided to spoke once the both of you were back to sitting on your beds.

"Aren't you going to prepare?" He asked you.

"For what?" You asked him, dumbfounded.

He rolled his eyes at you, pissed, and face palmed.

"Oh, okay!" You laughed. "Just wait."

You went to the bathroom smiling, knowing that you won this time. You were finally finished taking a bath and went outside wearing your clothes for the day.

"Do you really need me to go with you?" You asked him.

"Why not? Besides, you'll miss me." He retorted with a cheeky grin.

He carried one of his suit cases while you carried his carry on bag.

"You're too confident." You commented. He ignored your statement and told you that the car was already waiting outside. The both of you went out of the apartment and to the car with his bags. You were busy putting his things inside the trunk when he said that he forgot something so he went back.

You sighed and closed the trunk then proceeded to sit inside the car to wait for Thomas. After a few minutes, he came back. He entered the car and the drive to the airport started. The car was filled with silence. You didn't know what to say or what subject to start the conversation with. Soon enough, the silence began to be awkward.

Thomas suddenly looked nervous and seemed to have something to say.

"Do you want to say something?" You asked then turned to look at him.

"Remember last night?" He replied.

"Which?"

"When we were about to sleep." You wished he wasn't talking about what he said last night before he fell asleep.

"What exactly?"

"What if we just date? Like, a real date." He said. You turned away from him and decided to look at the rear view mirror instead. He was always a beautiful sight to look at but now you couldn't stand to look at him. You were obviously trying to ignore him but you couldn't resist not to look at him when you felt his eyes were on you.

You wanted to change the subject so you did.

"Remember when our English professor misspelled the word 'mississippi'?" You faked a laughed.

"He did?" Thomas asked with a frown on his face.

"Yeah." Then you looked away from him once again and decided to stare out the window. You were thinking that you shouldn't feel sad about this. Finally, you arrived at the airport. The driver carried two of Thomas' suitcases while Thomas got his backpack. You walked behind Thomas. He was about to speak when you noticed a group of photographers/paparazzi on your way. You intertwined your fingers with his. After all, it was a part of your job description.

You were expecting to see him smile at the cameras but he just continued to frown.

"Thomas." You say as you looked at him in the eyes then smiled at him.

"I need to tell you-" You interrupted him with a shook of your head. The both of you continued walking until you decided to take a sit on the bench as you wait for his flight to be called.

After several minutes of waiting, his flight was finally called. He stood up and was about to line up when he looked at you who didn't move. Thomas frowned, once again, then turned around to walk away when you said his name.

"Thomas." You stood up and walked to him, who abruptly stopped walking when he heard you. "You have something to say, right? What was it?" You were torn between wanting to know what he exactly feels and wanting to ignore it.

"I wanted to ask you out to a real date." He answered.

"Thomas, why?" You felt a sudden guilt hit your chest when you questioned what he feels. Thomas tried to smile, hoping that this would work out. Although you were very sure that it won't.

"I'm serious."

You shook your head at him.

"We could make this work, love. Please." He pleaded with you with a sad tone. You know that the both of you were going to burst into tears but you were headstrong.

"You can't say that. You just knew me. Thomas, just please—" Thomas suddenly wrapped his arms around you. His head was on top of your hair and his warmth made you melt on the inside.

"Please. Just don't." You said as you tried to pry his arms away from you.
