Far into the horizon, therein lies a glimmer of hope
At a glance, it didn't seem possible
One step at a time, it felt like forever
But as time passes, the hope faded
Bit by bit, it slowly drained
Along with the smile and confidence you once had
Eventually the world was deemed dark and gloomy
Solely by the chance you failed to grasp
