"Hi, I'm Elizabeth.", I said as I stuck out my hand.
She took it and said, "I'm Veronica."
"I'm Camilla.", Camilla said taking her hand.
The bell rang. It's 8:00 a.m.
"Ladies, take Veronica to check out her classes." she said as she walked into her office, we all followed.
"You got it Mrs. Hallow, I will not let you down.", Elizabeth said.
Mrs. Hallow handed Elizabeth Veronica's schedule.
"Where is Zendaya?"
"She can't make it.", Camilla responded.
"Why?", Mrs. Hallow asked.
"I don't know, Chris interrupted her before she could say why.", Elizabeth added.
Mrs. Hallow sighed and rolled her eyes. "Surprised it wasn't Kian. How can you guys stand him? I can barely stand him in the hour that he comes to detention.",
Elizabeth laughed, "And that's every week."
Camilla laughed.
"Okay, Veronica, welcome to Culver City High School."
"Thanks, Mrs. Hallow.", Veronica said with a nice smile.
Elizabeth took the lead and walked out the door. Camilla and Veronica followed.
"So, Veronica, where are you coming from?", Camilla asked.
"Homeschooling.", she responded.
"You dress pretty good for a girl who has no social life."
"Camilla!", Elizabeth said.
"It's okay, she's right. I had a few friends that lived on my street.", she said as fixed her bag.
"Oh cool.", Camilla said.
"Well, you're gonna be with us this whole day, unless your friends go here, you should hang out with us during break.", Elizabeth offered.
Veronica nodded and smiled.

Nutrition bell rang

"Come with me, Veronica, this is where we hang out.", Camilla said as she sat down on a bench.
"Do you have a boyfriend?", Elizabeth asked.
Elizabeth sat across from them and Camilla and Veronica sat together.
She shook her head.
"There's not that many blessed souls, but Chris is pretty cute.", Camilla added.
Veronica nods and Grayson comes in.
"Hey, baby.", he said as he kissed Elizabeth.
"Hi, Camilla and hello, nice to meet you, I'm Grayson.", he said as he stuck out his hand.
She shook it and said, "I'm Veronica."
"New girl right?", Ethan asked as he sat down next to Camilla.
She nods and he gives Camilla a kiss.
"Twins, must be fun.", she said.
Chris came running and said, "Tell me all about Mr. Flee's test."
"Mr. Flee? That's embarrassing.", Veronica said.
He laughed and turned to her, "I know right- wait you're the new girl?"
She nods. His jaw dropped.
"Close your mouth, you wild animal.", Zendaya said as she sat next to Grayson. "Hi, I'm Zendaya."
"Pretty name, I'm Veronica."
Kian sat next to Zendaya, "Hey new girl, and Zendaya, why are you so quiet?"
"I'm not.", she said as she took out a her bag and began eating hot cheetos.
Kian rolled his eyes and Chris came to sit down next to Veronica.
"So, are you all sophomores?", Veronica asked.
"Ethan and Grayson are, Kian isn't and neither is Chris.", Camilla said.
"I'm a junior.", Kian said.
"Same.", Chris added.
Veronica nods and begins eating from her bag.
"Can we talk about college?", Grayson asked.
"Not this again.", Ethan complained.
"Shut up.", Grayson said as he threw a hot cheeto he took from Zendaya at him.
"Look, Grayson, University of Texas is really fortunate for me.", Elizabeth said as she turned to him.
Grayson lets out a sigh and Chris said, "Dude, it's Elizabeth, if she really wants something, she gonna go for it."
"I told you, Gray.", Ethan said.
"Well," Veronica said, "if she does go to Texas, it shouldn't matter, love does not have an expiration date."
"That's sweet... and a really good caption for a selfie.", Zendaya said as she took out her phone.
"Hey, can I have everyone's number-"
"Yes!", Chris yelled.
Everyone looked at him, weird. "...for future references.", Veronica said.
She passed her phone around and everyone put their number in.
"Thanks.", she said as she took her phone back.

"That's our cue. Bye, Grayson.", Elizabeth said as she got up.
Grayson gets up and kisses her.
"Later, guys.", Grayson said to everyone. "Nice meeting you, Veronica."
"You too.", she responded.
Camilla and Ethan were kissing and Veronica got up to go with Elizabeth.
"Do they always do that?", she asked.
"They just started dating, two days ago.", Elizabeth responds.
"Bye, Veronica, and text me.", Chris said as he passed her.
