CHAPTER 2

Hunter’s POV

As I climbed out of my car Adrian and Damian shoved me against it. They each looked furious.

“What?”

“We’re mad at you!” Exclaimed Damian.

“What for?”

“For dating Candice Brooks dude! You could have at least told us you KNEW her!”

I looked at Adrian for help but he was just glaring at me. “I told you guys I had no idea it was – wait a second did you just say DATING Candice Brooks?”

“That’s what all the magazines say.”Adrian mumbled still glaring at me.

“And you believe their mindless gossip!”

“Well there are pictures of you with your arm around her, and one of you poking her, AND one where she had her hand on your face!”

“You have no idea how much I hate you right now.” Scowled Damian.

“Okay first of all my arm around her was me flirting with her, me poking her was me trying to get her attention, and her hand on my face was when she SLAPPED ME AND TOLD ME SHE HAD A BOYFRIEND! I didn’t even know who it was to begin with!” I snapped.

They both looked at each other then looked at me still glaring. Adrian was the first of them to relax and calm down. He was the calmer one out of the three of us, most girls loved that about him but he hardly went out with any of them.

Damian however was the reckless one out of us, he also goes through girls literally one by one and over again, since they always come back to him for some stupid reason I don’t understand.

“Bro you’re my idol now.” Said Jason who punched my arm.

“Why what did I do?”

“Not what you did, who you’re doing.” He winked before walking away.

The glare returned on Adrian’s face when realization hit that everyone now thought I was ‘Candice Brook’s’ boyfriend or she was cheating on her boyfriend with ME! Well at least I can be sure that she’s going to come and try to find me to end the rumors.

Guess I’ll be seeing you soon Miss Sydney Branch.

The ringing of the bell snapped me out of my thoughts. “Come on guys lets go.”

They both sighed and we made our way inside. I got envious looks from every guy that I walked passed and flirtatious smiles from most girls, looks like my life is going to get better.

“Hey there Hunter.” Purred some girl grabbing onto my arm.

Wait I think I know her, Sophie? Or was in Tanya? I’ll go with Sophie.

“Hey Sophie.” I smirked.

She giggled for some stupid reason. “So word on the street is that you’re taken.” She ran a finger up and down my arm.

“Now where did you hear that.” I whispered into her ear.

“People.”

“Well last I checked people lie babe.” Hah isn’t that the truth.

“So you’re free?” She asked.

“Depends what for.”

“I think you know what I have in mind.”

“I think I like what I think you think.”

She looked confused for a second and I chuckled. “Later babe.” I slapped her butt making her giggle then walked into class.
