CHAPTER 5
Hunter’s POV
Happiness washed through me once the final bell went off, its not that I don’t like school, its just that its too boring for my liking.
“Dude come on lets go.” Grinned Damian as he pushed me towards my car.
Adrian was already waiting for us there, they just couldn’t wait for me to give Sydney a call, and it’s a good thing I saved her number under Candice instead.
“Come on call her now!” Ordered Damian.
Adrian nodded in agreement. “Alright guys one second.” I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone.
Before I could dial the number I got a call from her.
“IS THAT HER!” They yelled simultaneously.
“Yes it is and you too need to calm down. Play it cool.”
They both smiled sheepishly while I answered the call and put it on loud speaker.
“Hello?” Said a voice I didn’t recognize.
“Hello?”
“Is this Hunter?”
Damian and Adrian smirked at me.
“Why yes it is, is this Candice?”
“No its not.” Damian and Adrian started chuckling. “Its her mother I really wanted to speak to you about my Candice.” They immediately stopped laughing and widened their eyes.
I smirked at them before replying. “Oh well then hello Mrs. Brook.”
“Actually its Branch not Brook.” Duh I already know, but the rest of the world doesn’t...
“Well then hello Mrs. Branch.”
“So it has come to my attention that you and my daughter spend some time together, and whether you are aware of this or not you two have captured the Medias attention.”
“I’m aware.”
“Great, because today she has an interview all about you, and I would love for you to come along. It’s at Franks Street, 6789, Giltapo studios this afternoon at 4.”
All three of us froze. Interview? She wants me to actually go to one of Sydney’s interviews. THAT’S AMAZING!
“Umm hello?”
“Uhh .. hi yes yes of course I’d love to come.”
“Wonderful.”
Damian nudged me. “Would it be alright if I brought two of my friends?”
“Sure thing. I’ll see you there.”
“You too.”
“I look forward to meeting you Hunter.”
“Back at you.” I replied before hanging up.
Damian and Adrian were looking at me with wide eyes; I couldn’t help but laugh at their expression.
“You are the man!” They both cheered.
Yes I am.
Sydney’s POV
Quietly I crept into the back entrance of my house; I didn’t really feel like explaining where I’ve been to anyone. After shutting the door quietly I bolted to my room, before I made it I bashed into something or someone and fell to the ground with a loud thud.
