Could I let Daryl know my awful past life of abuse and neglect? "It's ok I went through the same." "Wha..What?" Could it be that noticeable to people in the group? He got me to soften up a little like i've never done to anybody except ....Auora. I sighed quietly thinking about her, my bestfriend ,probally dead but hell! She's a tough biotch quite like me so who knows if she's alive or not. "Your dad, he abused you didn't he? I wasn't looking at him to know that he was staring at me which had made me a bit uncomfortable but it also made me comfortable gettin this dad shit off my chest with someone who probally knew what I went through."Yeh, how'd 'ye know?" "When 'ye were in 'yer towel at the CDC  I noticed some scars on 'yer back." I sighed and my hand was startin to shake a little as the horrifying memories slowly came back. "Yeh, My father used to beat the shit out of me after my mother took Rick  and went on their way, and ta think we were a happy family but 'ye can't wish for to many things now can 'ye?" "I know the pain 'ye went through, the feelin of not havin a mother 'round and 'yer sibling gone,hell Merle was in 'an out of juvey most of the time."Daryl's words had some how got through my hard exterior as he opened up to me.Sadness and silence had  now taken over Daryl's truck as we hit the touchy subject.

The line of multiple vehicles came to a stop which started to make me ask myself questions."Why we stoppin?" I heard Daryl yell as we walked over to my brother. "Carol's Cherokee is running on fumes and the R.V. is about to run on fumes as well." "We can siphon some gas with all the cars here it should be easy." T-dog suggested, his comment gave me an idea as well. "We can search for supplies in these cars too." I added in and mostly everyone seemed to agree. " This place is a graveyard." Lori said , her words not effecting anyone but it made me annoyed.Of course this place is a graveyard were in a damn apocolypse! "Ok everyone stay within sight of the R.V." everyone either nodded or say a simple 'ok' to Rick. I didn't respond which I earned a glare from my older brother.

I quickly grabbed my crossbow and huntin knife out of Daryl's truck and headed towards the first car in my sight.As I was rummaging through a station-wagon I found some canned foods and a couple a kitchen knives in the back.I was walkin to my next car until a pair of big arms grabbed me and through me down and also be shoved under a car. "What the..-" "Shhh,walkers,a herd, stay i'll come get 'ye when it's safe." Daryl said and then quickly ran off into another direction.

I slid my my hand down my leg and into my boot to get my huntin knife just in case a walker decides to make me thier dinner.The shufflin had become louder as they began to pass us,I looked to see who was near me and it was Sophia to my right  and Lori and Carol to my left. Once I heard the shufflin become more and more distant, Sophia began to get from under the car and two lone walkers noticed her and chased her into the wood line. I quickly scrambled from under the car, leaving my crossbow as my arm earned a  good-sized cut from the car. I ran for dear life after Sophia ,I didn't really care who or what was behind me as long as I get that little girl back to our group.I realized my arm was bleedin now and it had got the attention of the two walkers."Sophia get up that tree behind you and now!!" I yelled as I lifted my knife up and she did as I told her. One of the walkers got to close to my liking so I jammed my knife into it's forehead, it had gotten stuck and I was starting to panic. "Sophia honey I need you to stay in the tree i'll come to get 'ye I promise, don't leave that tree." I started runnin towards the group leadin the walker behind me while ripping a piece of my shirt to bandage my cut.

Finally I made it back to the highway were everyone is."My knife got stuck into a walker and I don't have any other weapons." I yelled to them as Daryl shot the walker with one of his arrows. "Where's...Where's my Sophia?" Carol said distrought as she came over ,Lori did the same. " Jocelynn what happened to your arm....were you bit?" "No Lori im not bit,my arm got cut under a car and Sophia is in a tree safe once im bandaged up we can go get her." I said and as if on cue Lori correctly bandaged my forearm. "Alright me,Shane, and Jocelynn will go get Sophia." Rick said and Daryl looked pissed when our eyes met I nodded to him tellin him to drop it. T-dog handed me my crossbow and we headed out into the woods.

We finally came to the clearing ,so peaceful , 'ye wouldn't think a apocalypse was goin on."Sophia darlin, 'ye can come down now it's safe." I said loud enough for her to hear me. She quickly scaled down the tree and ran to my side and snuggled her face into my side. I slung my crossbow onto my arm and picked her up making her place onto my side.Shane and Rick looked at me with confused looks because I was being so nice to a child.I swear sometimes those dipshits have the funniest faces.We walked back to the group and everyone had a shocked expression when me and 'lil Sophia came out of the woods.

Carol ran to us,Sophia jumped down and hugged her mother,I held back the thought that I would never meet my mother again but Carol she seemed like a motherly figure to me.Carol gave me a long hug and repeated 'thank you' god knows how many times and finally pulled back after what seemed like ages,I gave her a slight nod and walked to Daryl's truck to take a nap. Rick came over to the truck ,so I straightened up to talk to him. "Me,Daryl,and Shane are going hunting thought I'd let you know." "M,Kay." I mummbled and watched  as Rick walked away. I felt my eyelids droop as I was growin tired and finally I feel into a good and bad sleep.
