"Wanna make a bet." Glenn makes his eyebrows do a little dance.I think it over and probally think it's some petty little bet I could easily win."Sure." "Ok,meet me in the rec. room after me and you are finished." I nodd and finished my powdered eggs and packaged bacon.Glenn quickly finishes also and I follow him into the empty rec. room. "So whats the bet?" I cocked my head to the side in a questioning manor. "I bet you can't last a day in my clothes and act like me!" "Easy were pretty much the same anyways 'cept I have a southern accent and i more stubborn then you." Glenn and I laugh at each other and we quickly change clothes."One thing to add to the bet,I stay in your room and you stay in mine." "Got it!" I was now in Glenn's baseball lookin shirt, Jean a bit to baggy to my petite frame, and his cap.He was now wearin Daryl's sleeveless shirt and my tight ass black skinny jeans. "They hurt like a bitch don't they." "Yeh." I laugh silently and grabbed my belt to hold up the baggy pants.
"Your not gonna last a damn day in my jeans and Daryl is gonna flip seein you in his shirt." "I'll take my chances." We walked back into the dinning room where everyone was still seated finishing off their breakfast off.Glenn and I took our seats and I watched him squirm uncomfortably.Everyone stared at me and then Glenn and busted out laughin. "I knew you were a damn tranny chinaman!!!" Daryl yelled, which made everyone laugh even more.
"Damn this is a side of my sister i've never seen before." Rick say and Jenner comes in and stops dead in his tracks and stares at the tranny and I."Uhh...Good...Goodmorning." "Mornin Jenner." I say to the now akward silence that filled between Jenner ,Glenn, and myself.Jenner then turns around and walks swiftly out of the dining room with his cup of coffe. We all followed him to his computer lab,questions pondering through the air.He shows us a model of TS-19 which I didn't pay to much attention to.
Jenner then puts his head in his hands and sighs."What's wrong?" I wisper while the group pays more attention to the image on the screen above their heads. "Nothing Ms.Grimes." I looked over his clothed shoulder and noticed the clock read 40 seconds. "Jenner what happens when the clock hits zero?" He didn't reply."Jenner what. happens.when.the damn. clock.hits.zero.?" I once again didn't get a answer, which made my blood boil."Jenner answer me dammit." I said through clenched teeth and for third time which is enough to make me start yellin. "Jenner what fucking happens when the clock hits zero!" I yelled loud enough to get the group's attention."It happens fast you don't feel a thing, your distrought lives end in a matter in one milla-second." He's offically going crazy! I hear the gasps and cries from the group behind me,also tears brimmming my eyes.Everyone ran to get their shit and I followed .Once I was in the dark room ,I quickly grabbed Daryl's stuff and of course my stuff.
I threw my crossbow on my back along with a quiver of arrows and ran back to the computer lab.Glenn was runnin down the hallway by my side."I knew I shouldn't of made this bet!"He yelled and I giggled. We got back just in time because as soon as we got back to the others the doors shut behind us and the clock read 30 seconds.Daryl had a pickaxe up in the air 'bout to go into Jenner's head.I quickly got inbetween the two and pushed Daryl gentley."Stop, we need him to open the damn doors." He gave me an angry nod and went back to trying to break the door.I turned to Jenner and his face was blank as can be.I had to figure out a plan and quick."Jenner please open the door and let us live,let the kids live and let them have their own kids." I cringed at the thought of someone bringing a child into this world but this our last chance.Jenner's eyes widen and he nodded at what I had just said.He opened the doors and we all piled out 'cept Jaqui and Andrea. Dale was tryin to get Andrea out and Jaqui kept saying she was excepting her fate.We all had run up stairs and we were now faced with a new obstacle, the front of the building.
Carol pulled out a granade and blew the front widow out and we all ran to our vehicles,Dale and Andrea following behind.The explosion started and Dale and Andrea jumped behind the sandbags while Daryl quickly pulled me under him in the passanger seat.We stayed like this for a couple of minutes staring at each other.He slowly shrugged the glass off of his back and stared back down at me, his Georgia blues stared into my emerald greens.Daryl was a few inches from my face and I could feel his hot breathe on my skin which sent shivers down my spine.He leaned down further and pushed his lips onto mine.The kiss was quick but it felt...right? "Ye alright?" "Yeh,question is are 'ye alright?" I smirked at our southern accents.Dale and Andrea quickly sprinted past Darly's trunk and into the R.V. ,Daryl also shrugged the glass off his back and brushed the glass out of the drivers seat then moved his self from off of me and onto the drivers seat.The line of vehicles started to move and I decided to leave my bike 'cause it was out of gass anyways.(Before they went into the CDC T-dog was driving Daryl's truck and when they went out to get their stuff T-dog and Daryl got daryl's bike into the bed of Daryl's truck.)We got out there fase so the walkers in a 5-mile radius couldn't catch up with us.
It was silent for a little while, I was always puzzled on how to break the silence between two people."So...Where 'ye from?" Daryl asked breaking the silence and I guess he was 'bout to do the 20 questions game which is alright cause I do want to know 'bout him since weve kissed twice already.'I'm origanally from Tennesse,then i moved to Virginia,then to Atlanta for community collage." "Damn thats alot of places." "Yeah my mom was deployed to a shit ton of places before she got divorced and ....." my voice trailed off.
