Chapter 14

The next morning I wake up to Daryl asleep and Dale on top of a van keeping watch.When did Daryl go to sleep?I laid there a little bit with my eyes closed soaking in some of the Georgia rays."They look so peaceful up there together."Dale said,then I heard a scoff which probally came from my brother which made me giggle quietly."Awww Rick stop being a clock block for your sister." I heard Glenn say and everyone started laughin."Virgin ears Glenn,virgin ears!!" Lori said and by now I was peaking,Lori was covering Carl's ears and Carol doing the same to her daughter."He's just being a big brother."Carol said.She was right, I guess Rick was trying to be my big brother again."Do you think we should wake them up?" Sophia said and I quickly shut my eyes once again."No,not right now in a couple of minutes." Carol spoke up again but this time with a voice of jealousy.Why the hell is she even jealous she has like twenty some odd years on Daryl without the epidemic.

(A/N lets have an imagination and say Daryl is 29 or 30,which he probally is in the series,anyways Jocelynn is 24.)

Daryl stirred and opened his eyes and looked down at me,luckily nobody was lookin so I could tell him whats going on."Shh,they still think were asleep." I whispered and Daryl tensed up."Don't worry 'bout them, relax." He loosened up a bit and started playin with my hair not caring who was watchin I guess.We bothed stared into each others eyes while I played with his shirt button."Bout damn time yall woke up." I shot Shane a glare and he smirked.Rick scoffed and sat back down ,while the group was laughin, I could tell why Rick looked genuinely pissed which I found myself laughin at.

Daryl and I climbed off the R.V. and headed towards the group."Ye can have 'ye R.V. back Dale."Daryl said groggily and Dale nods in agreement.We were both handed a plate of 'food' and sat down on a hood of a car."Soooo..How'd you guys sleep last night."Glenn asked while he wiggled his eyebrows."Pretty good, but my neck hurts like hell,Daryl's leg isn't the best pillow ever." I patted Daryl's left leg,which made him tense up but he quickly relaxed.

Daryl's P.O.V~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I woke up  and Jocelynn was already starin at me which she then told me a couple of things and I tensed but she calmed me down.How on earth can she do that,just calm someone down with the quickness.Her brother looked pissed while I was playin with her hair,I could never unstand how the whole 'Big brother protectin 'lil sis from boys' shit worked 'cause I never had a 'lil sister.Rick kept given my death glares through out breakfast.

Jocelynn had been bringing the soft side of me,but Merle's voice kept poppin up in my head."Ain't no one gonna love or care 'bout 'ye baby brother but me."His words stuck in my head.Does she even care 'bout me?Well duh dipshit she said she likes 'ye redneck ass that's got to be a good start.I started gettin frustrated with my thoughts and I really needed to clear my head."I'm goin huntin." I annoced and soon took off into the woods.

Jocelynn's P.O.V~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I watched as Daryl  stormed off into the woods,I furrowed my eyebrows together and shrugged, his moodswings are very confusing.As much as I wanted to follow him, I knew I had to let him cool off.I now had a concered look on my face and Shane must've noticed."He's a big boy he'll be alright."I shot him yet another glare."Not now Walsh!" I snapped and he walked away.

It was gettin late and Daryl wasn't back yet and i'm not one to worry so he sure as hell be pretty damn happy once he gets back."Im gettin a group to get Daryl who's coming?"Rick said and my hand shot up as fast as a rabbit could make it 'cross a mine field.Shane also raised his hand."So Me,Shane,and Jocelynn."Rick said and what I dreaded the most that came out of that damn boy's mouth came out."Can I go Dad!!" Rick looked to Lori and the bitch nodded!!Who lets their damn child out in the woods in a fuckin zombie apocalypse!!!

We were in a clearing the sun was slowly startin to set."If we split up we can find him better."I  spoke up after the silence."We aren't splitin up to find trailer park trash that can find his own damn way back to the highway!"Shane almost nearly yelled out and I was quick to pin him against a tree."You ever call him trailer park trash or anythin along the lines like that,I will not hesiate to staple your balls to your forehead."He quickly nodded with a smirk across his face."Alright you two stop.You and Shane will go-" I cut him off before he could let another word fall out of his mouth."Im goin by my self.""No,no,nooo your not." I walked up to Shane."Im a big girl,I can handle myself."I walked away before they could say anything else."I'll be back before dark,trust me."I said over my shoulder.My crossbow was up and loaded,I only heard the faint rustlin of the tops of trees from the slight wind.I heard a loud rustlin behind me and I immediately turned around,I froze waitin for the walker to come out but the footsteps sounded to ..human like,Daryl."Daryl?" I said questionably and the rustlin stopped.

"God Dammit woman,why you got to scare the shit out of someone." "Pay back, now 'getcha ass over here." I said with dominace."I didn't need savin." "Who said I was savin 'ye redneck ass."I giggled and he smirked."Rick had me,Shane,Carl,and himself come get 'ye, think of it as a special escort out of the damn woods." He kept his smirk."Damn 'ye brother is startin to scare me." "Now how is he-." I was cut off by a gunshot in the distance.
