Chapter Four

Kai's POV

I sat next to my friend Tori who just finished eating her sandwich and was looking at me. I laid my head on her shoulder. I felt her arms wrap around me. I knew she wanted to help me but she couldn't. She brushed my hair and smiled. I was trying to steal her French fries but she smacked my hand and made me drop them. I pouted and everyone laughed. They were laughing I was actually pretty sad. I wanted a fry. But she gave me cookie instead.
"Nom nom" I said smiling.
"Kai."
"Huh"
"Grow up."
"NEVAAAAH"
"It scares me that you will be in high school next year."
"Hey! you sound like my mother"
" I don't think that's a good thing." She laughed.
"Its not" I giggled
"Hey Kai?"
"Yes Vicky"
"What happ...." She was cut off
"NOOOOOO! DON'T EVEN ASK!!"
The whole cafeteria got quiet and everyone was looking at us. I can feel everyone staring at us. I hated that feeling. I looked over my shoulder to see who was staring and my eyes met Zeeray's attention. He was looking at me and I quickly turned my head to face my friends. They followed the direction of which my eyes were looking and saw Zeeray standing in the same place still watching. I looked down and played with my bracelet.
"Kai." Tori said
"I know"
"Then when?"
"When I'm not feeling like this."
"He looks worried about you."
I sighed "I know"
"Talk to him"
"I will Tori...."
"When?"
"Soon Tori..... soon"
"Okay."
I looked down and sighed. I knew we were going to have to talk. He was my Best Friend. I knew I couldn't keep avoiding him, especially in the mornings. Why did I like him so damn much? Plus he was my best friend which made our friendship even more complicated. He had to be so damn fine.... And then his eyes....sigh....

Zeeray's POV

I wonder whats wrong with kai but I just don't know I feel like she's avoiding me but I don't wanna force her if she is
"hey d what do I do"
"what you mean"
"kai is ignoring me and I don't know why"
"force her to talk to you"
"you know I ain't like tht"
"maybe shes finally figuring out she loooooves you haha"
"yea like that's ever gonna happen" the teacher comes in and tells me that I need to go to the office so I went and saw Jessica
"hey babe whats up"
"hey zeeray" I grab her and make out with her
"hey what has gotten into you"
"I don't know I just don't want to forget your my girl"
"I love you zeeray"
she kisses me back for the first time. "well I gotta go to the office bye". What am I doing? Why is it that I'm thinking of kai when kissing Jessica. I better figure this out before tomorrow. I go into the office.
