Chapter Two

Kai's POV

I walked into my fourth period class and sat down at my table with my friends. I wasn't mad at Zeeray. Just upset and scared if Mrs. Dawn will call my parents. I put my head down and thought about what could happen if my dad found out. I sighed and looked up to see my friends staring at me.
"What I do?" I asked
They starred at me and smirked.
"I saw you talking to Zeeray" My friend Tori said to me smilimg.
"Yeah what were you two talking about?" My other friend Ace asked.
I looked at them and smiled. I looked down and laughed.
"Stop looking at me like that. You know I can't take you guys seriously."
"Well then spill." They said at the same time. It was weird but if I tried to change the subject they would get suspicious.
"We talked about the incident that happened this morning"
"Ohhhhh yeah I heard about that. Care to explain how your ass ended up on the floor?" Tori gave me this motherly look and Ace laughed. I looked at Ace and thought
'yeah thanks for the help Ace, I love you too.'
I looked back to Tori who was waiting and said
"He asked me for help with his paper but when called me the first two times I ignored him. So when he showed me the paragraph he needed help with, as I was looking at it, he poked the crap out my side causing me to fall out my chair and on to the floor."
"I forgot your ass is ticklish and sensitive as hell when it comes to your sides." Tori said
"Do you like him?"
"DUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" Everyone in the classroom said it at the same time. I looked around at everyone looking at us and glared.
"Ayeeee don't glare at us because its obvious. You two flirt a lot and its clear that he's not just a friend in your eyes." A guy named Ty said.
"You two do flirt a lot" Tori said after hiting Ace on the back of her head for asking such a stupid question. I laughed but sadly I knew I liked him. But he had a girlfriend so I wasn't going to jump in between of that. That was WAY too much drama. I saw my Tori waving her hand into my face.
"Earth to Kai, we need here and not on Venus." Tori said crossing her arms
"What else did you and Zeeray "talk" about?" Ace asked while the stupid air quotes. I looked at her and wanted to throw my pencil at her but I remained calm and sighed.
"He apologize for me getting yelled at by Mrs. Dawn, he wants to make it up to me but I don't know what I want to be honest."
I heard Ace fake coughing "a date" she said clearing her throat. I threw my pencil at her. I couldn't resist anymore.
"Shut it Ace, but I don't know.... I'll think of something but I don't care about it anymore. Just more worried about my father finding out about what happened you know?"
Their eyes grew wider "do you think..." I cut her off " I'm praying she doesn't call"
I looked down and they can see the worry in my eyes.

*************The Bell rings and the door closes******************

Mr. Kay walks in

"Okay class let's get started"

"We'll discuss it later" Tori said looking at me and we focused our attention to Mr. Kay.

Zeeray's POV

Zeeray pov

"hey what's up d" I say
"hey bruh what's up"
"Nothing I'm jus worried"
"Why are you worried"
"Well kai got into trouble because of me now I'm like what should I do. do you think I should talk to the teacher"
"I think you should in case she gets her parents called"
"ok I will after class but yea what's new man I heard you trying to get shawty"
" naw I gave up on her"
"why"
"she was playing with too many guys" "sucks bruh"
"I know but how about you and your little thing have you hit it yet"
"what no there's no way I'm going to wait till high school"
"true what about your other little thang"
" what are you talking about"
" kai man I heard you guys are flirting and im wondering when you going to go after that"
"I'm taken bro you know that"
"ok I'm just saying don't let that thing go "
