"I can't believe you got tickets to go see Blake Taylor." Lacy screamed as Jessica flashed a pair of middle row tickets, "We're gonna get married one day you know that right?"
"If you believe that, than I believe you." Jessica said as she pocketed the tickets, 'What should we wear?"
"This calls for a mall trip, I think?" Lacy asked with a serious expression plastered on her face.
"Yes, It does." Jessica said as she flopped down on her bed admiring the poster of Blake Taylor on her wall.
Blake Taylor was the biggest pop star in the world. At only 21 he'd been on 3 world tours, won over 35 awards, starred in 3 major films, managed his own clothing line and owned 3 platinum selling CD's. He was 5"7 with sandy brown hair that hung to his shoulders and gorgeous blue eyes. You could fall in love with him just by looking into his eyes. He was well-built for his age and wore braces. If you were to ask anyone around Heman Hills who they're favorite star was, the first one would be Blake Taylor.
The biggest mall around Heman Hills was about 20 miles out from where Jessica lived. Thanks to her dad, who happened to leave her last year, she was the proud owner of a pink Chevy Camaro. If you wanted the definition of a typical Heman Hills girl, Jessica wasn't it. She was nice, and shy compared to the stuck-up, rude females that littered the place. She wasn't rich like everyone else, her family was middle class minus her father. But her father didn't count anymore. He left his family for a younger female with no kids and way more money. Jessica's mom worked hard for the money she earned. She was assistant manager at Best Buy and on the side worked at a Cafe when help was needed. Jessica also lived with her older brother, Cody. He was 22 and in college at Heman University. He didn't want to travel far away from home. He said it was because he wanted to make sure they were safe but Jessica always thought he was a little scared of living alone.
Lacy on the other hand was rich and lived the life style to a T. She owned 2 expensive cars she never drove, and her closest was a mall in itself. Whenever you saw Lacy, you saw expensive clothing, expensive accessories, and expensive shoes. She was of a typical Heman Hills girl than Jessica was. She was stuck-up and could be very rude, but at the same time she had a nice side. Jessica and Lacy became close friends when they had to share bunks on their camping trips. Once they got to know each other, well the rest is history as they say.
They arrived at the mall and drove around for a parking spot. There in the corner by the back entrance Jessica spotted it. She sped quickly before anyone could notice the spot, but it was to late. A light green "bug mobile" was headed for it to. The car was gunning head on for Jessica's Camaro. She turned the wheel hard, fishtailing the car to avoid an accident.
"Maybe next time." Jessica growled as she recognized the voice of Stacy.
Stacy was a world class snob. She belonged to the richest family around, and she never let you forget it. She was laughing mockingly as she hopped out of her car followed by her "crew". Jessica flicked her off and than sped off.
The mall was crowded with barley any breathing space. Most of the students from Penn Brook Academy were walking around loaded with shopping bags. Lacy grabbed Jessica's hand and shoved their way through the crowd to her favorite store, U.S.A Girl.
"Now you know I can't afford this stuff." Jessica held up a shirt that costed 75$, "This is way beyond my pricing."
"Look, you got the tickets, and I'm buying the outfits." Lacy explained, "Cute shirt to."
"I guess." Jessica shrugged as she followed Lacy deeper into the store.
They spent 2 hours trying on clothes and throwing them into a large pile in the dressing room. They finally settled on a red and blue top with fur around the collar and jewels encrusted around the sleeves, A pair of tight, black skinny jeans, and a pair of Blake Taylor flats. Lacy spent over 500 dollars and walked out the store satisfied, a large toothy grin on her face.
"Well we're done her hun. I'll have Tyler pick me up from here." Lacy said as she pulled out her cell phone, "See you at school tomorrow.
Jessica mummbled a goodbye and moaned silently to herself. She had forget today was only Thursday. She hated the school she attended. Who wanted to go to a preppy school, with preppy kids, and teachers that never knew what they were doing. It was ridiculous and beyond her understanding. She glanced at her watch it was a little after 8. She found her car and drove home, silently fuming to herself with her radio turned on full blast.

"Another concert in the books." Miles said as he tossed Blake a towel.
Blake Taylor plopped down on the chair in his dressing room, exhausted and tired. He just finished a 5 hour concert with a 2 hour encore. It was just after 2 in the morning and he had another round of concerts lined up later that day.
"I'm tired as hell." He growled as he downed a bottle of water and then grabbed another one, "From here on out, you're going on stage first for about an hour. You're my opening act."
"Wait, why me?" Miles asked as he sat cross-legged on the floor.
"Cause, these concerts is exhausting. I'm mad at Barry he couldn't find any opening acts, so I open for myself. You're my best pal Miles. Do it for me?" Blake pleaded, pulling out the puppy dog look.
"You got it bro." Miles said.
Blake nodded and then leaned back in his chair to relax. Another successful concert a lot of happy fans and he was making a name for his self, not that he needed to. The door crashed open and Barry White, his manager, came thundering in followed by his parents and his brother.
"Great job, great job." Barry said in his thick British accent, "The next concert we had lined up has been canceled, minor flooding in the city planned to get worse. So we'll hop on the bus from here and head to Heman Hills. We're playing in Full Sail Stadium which is a great honor."
"Great Concert son." Blake Taylor's dad, Josh, said as he handed him a t-shirt, "We'll meet you at your hotel there, Issac is hungry so we're gonna head out early."
"Alright, bye guys." Blake said with a nod.
Barry white left a while after leaving Blake and Miles with platters of food. Without a second thought Blake jumped at the food, devouring it hungrily.
"Eww, and I'm into you because." Blake smiled to his self as his girlfriend, Carly, groaned at him.
He turned around fast and wrapped her up in a bear hug and planted a soft kiss on her lips, leaving french onion dip around her mouth.
"Now I'm asking myself why I'm with you." Blake said as he released her.
"Gross." Carly yelled as she rushed off to wash her mouth.
"I love you to." Blake yelled after her.
