The day of the concert couldn't have came any faster. Jessica was excited and could barley sit down for a second. She was half dressed with her jeans and shoes on. The top was still hanging up in her closet, teasing her silently. Her mom walked into her room with Cody trailing behind her. Cody was wearing his favorite shorts and a tank top.
"Look at baby sis." He smirked as he flashed a toothy grin, "Can i take a picture with you, o great one?"
"I'm so not great, I'm awesome, and by the way you don't look in order for a picture." Jessica said pointing at his tragic outfit, "Shorts and tank top? Come on."
"I'm going surfing with Kelsey and her brother. Thank you very much." Cody said as he plopped down on the bed next to her.
Her mom, Lisa, smiled at the sight and took the opportunity to take a few pics with the camera. "You guys look so alike, it's scary." Lisa said as she smiled at her 2 children.
Jessica and Cody grew up the only two children in the house. They were close despite the age difference. Growing up before their dad left, Their mom and dad constantly fought so going to the next best thing Jessica clung to her brother. After their dad left, Cody became more than a big brother and a son, but a protector.
"Miss lovely has arrived." Lacy said as she came walking into the room carrying her Louis Vuitton bag, a pair of Louis Vuitton shades hung off her shirt,
"How did you get in here, Lacy?" Cody asked quizzically as he gave her the once over.
"The door was open, so I invited myself in. I'm like family though right?" Lacy asked as she tossed her bag on the bean bag chair in the corner.
"Of course sweetie." Lisa said as she leaned down to kiss her on the cheek, "How's the family?"
"Doing great, they told me to tell you we're having a get together next week you guys should come by." Lacy said happily
"That sounds wonderful." Lisa headed for the door, but turned around, "Be safe at this concert, girls."
"Don't worry about us mom." Both girl said in unison.
Lacy grabbed her bag and grabbed Jessica's top out the closet, 'Let's get a move on so we can get there on time."
