"Blake Standing here today with Carly on your arm how do you feel?" A reporter asked Blake.

He was at his photo shoot with Carly drapped on his arm. She was smiling and flaunting for the camera's unaware of what was about to happen. He took a deep breath and reassed his self. Jessica wasn't famous, sure she was gorgeous but what did she have to offer. Being with Carly gave him power, fame, money. He shook the thought out of his head. He was becoming a typical hollywood "it" boy. So obessessed with the fame you forget why you even joined the business.

"I feel as if it's time for our realtionship to end."

A strong silence filled the room. Camera's stopped flickering, bodies stopped moving, and the air became thick. He felt Carly tense up. Something she did when she was nervous and on the verge of tears. He had never broken up with somebody in his life. He hated feeling like somebody's pain was his fault. But at this moment, this time. He felt responsible. He couldn't do it, he couldn't be with a person he didn't feel attracted to. It didn't work that way.

"The reason for our break-up is not public right now thank you." Blake stepped down off the podium leaving Carly standing there. She was still, unmoving, barley breathing. He spotted the tears sliding down her face, slowly gathering into a puddle on the stage.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, even though he knew a sorry couldn't fix this problem. Not by a long shot.

"Oh my God Jessica look." Lacy came storming into her room and shoved a magazine into her hand, "Blake broke up with Carly."

Jessica starred at the magazine. On the front was a snap shot of Blake signing autographs and one of Carly flashing for the paparazzi, in between their photo's was a large rip. She flipped quickly through the pages to find the article.

"That's so like awesome." Lacy said as she snatched the magazine back, "He did it for you."

"You don't know that." Jessica said as she smiled silently to her self.

She wanted to believe that he did for her. That one day he would call her and come back for her. But she knew it was a fairy tale and fairy tales didn't come true. Blake was famous, she was normal. Compared to the girls he could be with, she didn't stand a chance.
It was a rainy Saturday and Jessica found her self bored even though Lacy was around. Watching movies seemed lame, and being on facebook for hours on end just wasn't right.

"We should go see what Cody is doing." Lacy suggested as she was starring at her self in the mirror.

For as long as Jessica could remember, Lacy had always had a crush on Cody. She use to tell her that he was her first love even though he never knew.  Lacy was the kind of girl to like a million guys at once, but be stuck on dude. Relationships didn't come Early to Lacy, most of the guys she messed with, used her for her money. She was gullible even though she played it off.

"He's out with his girlfriend, it's her birthday." Jessica said as she flipped through the channels on TV, "Won't be back till later."

"Damn." Lacy sighed as she plopped down on the bed, "Imma call Miles."

"I dare you." Jessica said as thought amused her slightly, "Right now."

Lacy pulled out her phone and dialed the number. She put on speaker and a calm silence filled the room as the phone rang loudly, vibrating off the walls.

"Hello?" Miles answered softly, "Who is this?"

"Lacy, it's Lacy Cyrus." Lacy said as her heartbeat raced a bit.

"Hey." She could her the smile in his voice, "Wassup?"

"Same ole, same ole. Bored right now." Lacy replied, calmly, "What are you up to?"

"Handling Blake's little situation. He broke up with Carly on national TV, she's pissed and trying sue him, so I gotta try and talk to her." Miles explained quietly, "He really seems to like your friend, what's her name. Jessie, Jessica, something like that."

"Jessica. Yeah she read the article in the newspaper." Lacy said as she looked at Jessica, "You guys should come back and visit."

"You think?" Miles asked teasingly, "Well, I'll text you later, boss man is yelling."

Lacy hung up and held the phone close to her heart. She loved his voice. How he sound rough, but soft at the same time. The fact that she could she just imagine his crooked smile as they talked gave her the chills.

"Told you so." Lacy said matter-of-factly.

"So, just cause Miles said it, don't mean nothing" Jessica replied as she turned the TV off and stormed down stairs.

She was scared of the thought that somebody could actually like her. Break-up with somebody they've been with for months just so they could be with her. She looked at life like a circle. It happened to the girl before her and it would happen to her. The only man in her life that hadn't hurt her yet was her brother. Her trust was low. She didn't want to be with him. She couldn't. It would hurt to bad.
She hurried downstairs and ran to the basement as tears came streaming down her face. She remembered for months after her dad left she used to come and cry in her brother's arm for hours. She felt alone, a piece of her heart gone forever. She collapsed on her brother's bed and pulled the covers up to her chest. Tears were streaming down her face quick. The thought of trusting a male meant she believed her wouldn't hurt her. She heard Lacy's frantic footsteps as she searched the house screaming her name. Soon enough Lacy would find her way down her. She knew at times Jessica came down there to hold on to memories and times she needed to let go of.

"Jessica what's wrong?" Lacy asked as she grabbed hold of Jessica and held on to her.

"I'm scared." Jessica said shakily.

"Blake, how could you do this?" Barry asked as he hung the phone for the 5th time since he walked in the door, "You've cause problems not only for yourself, but my company."

"I just don't like her. I got my own money, I don't need hers." Blake explained as he flipped through a tattered photo album.

"That's not the point. She and her was just suppose to be a publicity stunt. Make you more famous. Do you now know she's gonna make your life a living hell." Barry tried to explain as he snatch the album from Blake's hands, "Listen to me damn it."

"Guys, check out channel 6."Miles said as he came running into the room.

Miles clicked on channel 6 and face shot of Carly flashed on the screen. She was with her brother, Louis and her manager Don Rio. They were standing outside of Sherman Hall. Her face was red from crying, her eyes puffy.

"With this new news given to Carly just hours ago, she is ready to talk." Don Rio said as he helped her on stage, "Please no questions."

Carly stepped on stage and grabbed the mic, "I had no knowledge about the break-up. Blake hadn't confronted me about any bad feelings or anything between us. For him to break-up with me on national TV in front of everyone is disgraceful. He will be hearing from my lawyers. I'm suing him for emotional damage."

"Thanks for your time." Don Rio grabbed hold of Carly and led her off stage. Her emotion felt all around the crowd.

Miles flicked off the TV and glanced at Blake, "Is she really worth it?"

Blake was silent as Mile's question hit home. This wasn't his first time rushing something that might not be there. Was she worth it, was he ready to risk his career again for a female, that may have no interest in him? He closed his eyes, signaling he was done for the night.
