..........................................................

The classroom was busy with filling for the class tour and I was still confused if I should go or not. This time we were going to Delhi, a three week trip and everyone were excited as if they were flying to Paris.

"Tahera, you want to join? It would be real fun. I am sure you would not want to miss this. Maybe you could create the best of memories. Some things are worth the risk girl. Travels can inspire us a lot....." she kept blabbering, my class president.

Maybe I should give myself a break. I have been to Delhi when I was five or something. I have a vague memory of TAJ MAHAL and the beautiful gardens, yet something was missing.

After class I left to grab a cup of coffee and thought of roaming around the city and writing about something that could inspire me. The evening lights were going to fill in the city. My phone rang and the name flashed AHMED!

"Hello, what is it?" I asked least in the mood to go up a smooth conversation.

"Hey, remember you owe me a dinner. I thought why not call you up and fix a date."

"Listen, I don't owe anyone anything. I am busy at the moment, so if you don't mind please excuse me. Bye."

I hung the call and not even a minute passed by I regret doing so. I unlocked my phone and dialed his number and with cross fingers pressed the call button only to find out the person on the other side happened to be busy.

Evenings in Calicut are busy yet there is a touch of calm. There are people running to rest back home, which makes the city less crowded yet full of people and I was in search of something that could inspire me.

My phone rang again and this time I counted till 5 before I picked up and answered.

"So is the dinner treat still on?" he asked and I for some reason smiled.

Yeah, I guess it is. Where do you want to eat tonight?" My pulse started rising. I was having a normal conversation with a person for the first time in my life. It felt so good.

"We could try some noodles today. How about we meet in half an hour?" I looked at my watch, it was 5:30.

"Sounds okay." I was surprised at my own tone.

"Well catch me at the beach same place we met last time." He hung the phone and I left to the beach.
