Captain Baker led me out of the control room and walked me to the cafeteria as I was very unfamiliar with this place.

"I will arrange for someone to show you around." He said as he left me at the doors of the cafeteria. I thanked him as I pushed the door open to join my family again. I don't know why I thanked him, I mean it's not like I am going to get acquainted to this place.

After an hour or so, I went to the hospital room where I was, when I first got here, I grabbed all of my things and went to the room where my family was staying. It was actually very neat for a place like this, except of course, the bags which my family brought and my brother's weird stuff. The walls were painted white and the floor was wooden. There was a flat screen TV which was fixed on to the wall, facing the four single beds, one for each of us.

We then cleaned up the place and made the beds, and finally sat and talked like a normal family. I knew they did not want to give me any more trauma than what I had experienced and so they did not bring up anything about the invasion, the cave and all that. For a while, I forgot about all the things that were happening.

Then there was a knock on our room door.
"I'll get it!" I said and stood up to go and open it.

I opened the door to see a boy, who I thinks was about my age or maybe a year older than me, looking down and smiling at me.

"Are you Aletheia Roberts?"

He was almost six inches taller than and he had a lean, yet strong frame, which made him look so confident.

"Yeah, that's me" I said.

"I've come to show you around the camp. I'm Rowan."

He had dark brown eyes and dark wavy hair, that came to the nape of his neck.

"Hello Rowan." My father came and stood behind me. Maybe they would have met in the days when I was stuck in that cave.

"Hello Mr. Roberts! How are you doing today?"
He asked.

"Very well, thank you. What brings you here to our room?"

"Oh, I just came to show Aletheia around." He said eyeing me.

"That's a good idea! Go and take a look around. There are some really cool hiding spots around here which Oliver and I found!" My father said, winking at me.

Both of them were looking at me, expectantly.
"Oh, why not?" I smiled and grabbed my jacket and my boots. Thank god, my mom didn't forget to bring these. It's so cold here. And then I was out the door.
