After what seems like forever I was woken up to the noise of a different neighborhood.
"God the dead arise" my bro greeted me as he was packing out some stuff from the truck. “Where am i, i ask yarning".
“Las Vegas you dumb ass” my brother said glaring at me.
“Wait what” I question.
“Didn’t mom and dad tell you" he ask.
"Obviously not” I mumbled.
"Well sis we are at our new home so get your ass out and help with the bags will you".
"Fine fine am coming".
Holy shots my eyes widened as I came in contact with a colossal building. “Wait bro this house is ours” i question.
"Duh! Yea it is now help!"
I grab two bags and head towards my so called new home. Inside was breath taken trust me being a girl realizing your new home is all pink and white makes a girl loose air.
"Place the bags in the hall way dear." my mom said "and come look at your new room." I place the bags down and follow my mom up some staircases.
"This is your new home. “She pointed to a door which to me looks more like a two apartment.
"Wow!" i shouted out and blast into the room. The wall was pink and aqua with a little white.
"You love it my mom asks?"
"Yea of course mom." i said totally forgetting that my first home was not even big as my head. Laugh out in my head, not to exaggerate but yeah you get the picture.
After everything was organized in our now new home, everyone is now gathered in the well furnished living room around the table.
"This is our new home my mom declared, we are in Vegas, due to your father business."" He is been offered a big deal and of course the house is apart of this business offer,""We all know this is heaven due to what we used to but we are about to change that especially after what..... "
I didn't stay to hear the rest or should I say i don't want to hear it. I excused myself from the conversation and stormed upstairs to my room, ignoring the shouts of my dad demanding for me to get back to the living room. My mom mumbling something about can’t live in denial.
But she never understands that what ever happen to her my sis was my fault.
I slam the door. So good for hiding behind a perfect smile, when deep inside am full of the opposite!
I drop on my bed with a thud. Tears rain from my eyes I open the locket on my necklace and stared on the picture of me are should I say my other half. I am so sorry Chin I cried, I should have stayed home instead of us going to that stupid party. I held on to the locket and cried myself to satisfaction.
About an hour dinner was ready but i had no appetite. I just grab a ham sandwich and a box of orange juice. Damn this place is loaded. I headed to my room trying to avoid my parents and my brother and noted trying because as i reached the second step my name was called I turned around and met face to face with my brother.
"What Kevin?" I ask. He scratched his head. I raised an eyebrow.
"I was just reminding you that its our first day at school tomorrow."
"Thanks” I replied drylyDon't be a silent reader vote comment
