Quick a/n: Hey guys! I'm sorry for the wait (I'll explain in the later a/n) but I just want to give a shout out to a REALLY good friend of mine. Her name is lavendxr_skies and she is the reason I am on Wattpad. She is a poet and writes a lot of poetry based stories that are just truly beautiful. However she recently told me she might delete one of my favorite stories on her account. So I want to ask you all for help in getting my amazing friend some views on her equally amazing story, Ocean. It's just an awesome short story and I want to recommend to to all of you. Please help me guys, it is so beautiful and I really don't want her to delete it... Thanks ;D
Now here is your well deserved chapter XD
Ryo's POV:
The bridge was eerily quiet, even the two in battle just stopped to stare at the blonde idiot. However the knucklehead was oblivious to the stares he was receiving from both sides. I looked over at Kakashi and saw him sweatdrop, I just let out a deep sigh.
"Naruto, you know what the definition of a ninja is right?" I asked my younger brother. He turned to look at me and laughed awkwardly.
"Well. A ninja is awesome and fights like a boss." He gave me a cheeky grin. He turned to look at the battle that Sasuke and Haku where having, however the scene erased his smile. He let it a deep growl and shouted. "Okay SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!!!"
Zabuza and Kakashi sprang into action once my brother shouted out his trademark jutsu. Zabuza flung 3 kunais at him, all aiming for a kill. Kakashi shouted at him for this not being a talent show. Doing the Sensei lecture thing. However I didn't move. I don't lecture him about being a knucklehead, or tell him to look out, I just stood there waiting for what I wanted to see.
I had been fighting Zabuza for long enough to notice both his and Haku's habits and preferences. Zabuza and Haku have contradicting personalities, both where blood thirsty rouges. However they settled that blood thirst in two totally different ways. Zabuza was called a demon for a reason, he mercilessly killed anyone and everyone. While Haku wanted good reasons for killing, but even then he was reluctant to take an adults life, much less a child's.
That being said, I wasn't at all surprised when Haku aimed his Sendon at the incoming kunai, blocking them from hitting my brother.
"What are you doing Haku?" Zabuza growled. Although he eyes held no surprise what so ever. Just as I knew, he knew Haku would block those kunai.
"I'm sorry Zabuza. I would like to take care of this child myself." Haku replied, choosing his words carefully. Zabuza let out a deep sigh before mumbling.
"You've always been too soft Haku. But with you taking care of two of the twerps, I can settle our little 'rivalry' with this annoying blonde."
My hand gripped the hilt of my right katana but didn't make a move. Our side (by our I mean Kakashi, Zabuza, and I) of the bridge was deathly quite. My blue eyes stared into the demonic eyes of the man infront of me. All was silent... If Kakashi and I had not been fully trained Shinobi, it would have been impossible to see, much less hear Zabuza running towards us.
In a flash, my Katana was out and just in time. Zabuza's thick blade clashed with my thinner one. We both pushed them with all of our might. And neither of us where making progress. Suddenly fire shot through the air heading toward both me and Zabuza. It wasn't until you could feel the hers of the fire in your face did we jump back. Narrowly missing it.
I barely spared Kakashi a glance before both of us leaped forward baring our respective blades (Me>katana Kakashi>kunai). Zabuza growled a low string if curses before meeting our attack head on. We had positioned ourselves so most of the force of Zabuza's attack was on me. Kakashi swiftly released the press he he was powering he through his kunai at Zabuza's chest. However Zabuza leap back and deflected the knife with his sword.
