Taylor's POV

What does someone even wear to a buffalo wings restaraunt? Especially at 11 o clock at night. I mean, I know we're in college and technically adults and stuff, but I need to have my beauty sleep or extra concealer in the morning.

I tapped my nails on my dresser while my eyes roamed for an appropriate outfit for such an occasion. I was definitely overdo for an acrylic fill in, but in order to keep my credit card working, I needed to get Daddy Approved Grades. Which means at least a 3.5 each semester. Which means pass all my finals first.

I want to wear something that still looks okay if it gets dirty. In case we actually eat there. But also something that I won't really miss if it gets ripped during a fight... But it has to look nice so that those bitches know I have style.

I settle for a simple black tank top, with a nice push up bra. Distressed jeans to pair with it and 'tis the season for Timberlands. In case I have to stomp a bitch out. Now for coats... I nee-

"Taylor, get your ass out here or we'll be late!" Tony called, banging on my door.

When I moved out of my parent's house, I thought I'd be done with being rushed. Opening the door I complained, "There's nothing wrong with being fashionably late."

Everyone was at the front door waiting for me. I'm the only one who drives, after all. I gave my friends the once over and sighed in dismay.

"This is why they call is Black People Time. Never on time." Abayomi scolded.

"I should be friends with people like Kim K. and Kimora Lee. How on Earth did I get stuck with nerds like you?" I said, finally on the way to the restaraunt.

"Who is Kimora Lee?" Abayomi asked.

"You need to be friends with The Wiz, so he can give your ass a brain." Tony stuck her tongue out at me.

I stomped on the brake and Tony's face crashed into the back of the passenger seat, where Alicia sat. When I was satisfied with her groan, I continued on driving.

~----~

"Where the fuck are they?" Tony asked, while we looked at our menus.

It was 30 minutes past the designated meet time and those hoes were nowhere in sight.

"See what I mean by fashionably late? The only time you should be on time is for work and your period." I said, while using my lip balm, "At least we have a good view of the football team."

Everyone turned to look at the group of boys who were opposite of us, roaring at a game that was on one of the flat screens. Football players and football. I just don't get it.

"Guys! That's the guy I was talking to at the pep rally." Tony whispered to our table.

"You mean before or after you assaulted a pom pom girl?" Abayomi said, trying to get a better view.

"Oh, yeah. I noticed you two, but he left right when the drama started." Alicia said, piping up for the first time in a while.

"Oooohh. Girl, you need to go talk to him." I said, making kissy faces.

"How about you mind your business and I mind my own?" Tony challenged.

I sat back, surprised by her rude tone. "Okay?"

Tony sighed and laid her head on the table, "I'm sorry. I just don't really know how to get his attention. He approached me the last time."

I bit my lip and thought over ideas on how to draw attention to our table or at least Tony. I snapped, signalling that I knew what to do. I tickled Tony on her sides, so she instantly started swatting at me and jumping away until finally she jumped out of the booth and fell on her butt. Oops. That was not part of the plan.

"What the hell, Taylor?!" She snarled at me.

"Hey! It's you from earlier." Tony's little friend peered out of his booth at the source of noise and came over to help her up.

"Well You isn't really my name, but yes. I am from earlier." Tony said in her usual stoic voice. That girl is really something.

At last, the 4 cheerleaders from our doorstep made their entrance. Only 40 minutes late. They sat at the seats across from us, but one girl had to pull up a chair because 9 people were not expected to fit in one booth.
