I run as fast as I can. I can't find him anywhere. "Hiccup! Hiccup! I'm sorry." I stop to gain some air. Then, I see him. Going into the coffee shop. That's weird, he doesn't like coffee?

"Astrid. You here?" I call. I really need someone to talk to. "What's up Haddock?" I sigh and explain the whole situation to her. "Listen, Hiccup. I'm sorry. This is all my fault. I wish I didn't kiss you. Everything would be fine but it's not. "She starts to cry. I comfort her. "No it's not. It ok." She hugs me.

They're back together huh. I think it's for the best. I walk away crying. Was I really that stupid to think he might actually like me? It starts to rain. This is just great. "Why is this happening to me?" I yell. Then, I see someone pull up.
"Hey Mer! You need a ride?" It's my best friend Jack. "Are you sure Jack? You wouldn't mind?" He rolls his eyes. "No, c'mon get in!" I laugh. "Thank you." I get in and we ride away.

I saw them get in the same car. Why was she here? Was she coming to get me? Or was Jack waiting for her? I don't know! So many questions. I'll go over to her house again and ask. I hope she talks to me this time.

We get to my house. "Thanks again Jack. That really meant a lot." He smiles at me. "No problem, anything for you." I laugh and hug him. "Night Jack!" I go to my door. "Goodnight Mer!" Then he drives away. I wish he was the one driving me home. I sigh and go inside. "How did it go?" My mom asks. I sigh and shake my head. "I'm sorry honey." She hugs me and I start crying. Again.

They were made for each other. I see that now. I start to tear up. I wish I was the one that drove her home. I'm a fool. Why would she go out with a fool like me. I go home and my dad is here. "Son! How was the dance with Merida?" I sigh and shake my head. "It'll take some time son. Don't worry." I go upstairs and think how I screwed all this up.
