I was patrolling tonight. I was on top of the Eiffel Tower, looking out at the city. I hear someone coming up from behind me. I grab their arm and flip them over. I suddenly realize it's my partner, Hiccup Noir. "I'm so sorry Hiccup!" I apologize. He chuckles as he gets up. "It's alright My lady. Being flipped by you is my dream." He winks at me.
I roll my eyes. "Your such a dork." He laughs. "That makes me your dork." I laugh and look at him. He's not that bad, but I can't fall for him. I have this crush on this super cute guy named Henry at my school. He doesn't really notice me that much. I mean, we talk sometimes, but not all the time. Hiccup, he's different. I can talk to him when I have a problem. He's always there for me when I'm stuck in a battle. "LadyMerida? Are you alright?" He waved his hand in front of my face. I snap out of it. "W-What?! Oh, yeah I'm fine Hic." I sigh.
He stands next to me. "Mer, what's wrong?" I look at him. I wonder who he is. This guy behind the mask. Whoever he is, I'm glad that he's my partner. "It's just.... I have this crush on this guy at school. And I try to make him notice me. He never does. Sometimes I wonder if he actually is my friend or even likes me." I look down at the floor. Hiccup picks up my chin. "Whoever that guy is. He's a moron. Your the best person ever! Even if I don't know you behind that mask. I could tell your a great person to be around with. And if he can't see that, then he's stupid." I start to cry and I hug him.
"Your the best partner, a hero can have Hiccup Noir!" He hugs me tighter. "Same to you LM."
