Welcome to book two, of 'Things to notice...' I DO NOT OWN THE PERCY JACKSON BOOKS!

Front cover-The big eye in the background, is bloodshot and blind, this means its Polyphemus's eye.

This ship in the back is the 'Queen Anne's Revenge'.

Most people don't notice, Grover running on the bridge (about an inch in front of Percy and Annabeth)

P.13-'...They were new kids who must've been visiting, because they all had those stupid 'HI! MY NAME IS:' tags from the admissions office. They must've had a weird sense of humor, too because they'd all filed in strange names like: MARROW SUCKER, SKULL EATER, and JOE BOB. No human beings had names like that.'

The first two names make sense, but Joe Bob?

P.30-'...There were words printed on the door-something like GYAR SSIRES- but my dyslexia made it hard for me to decipher what it said.'

The door really said 'GRAY SISTERS' but I guess Percy missed the 'T'

P.40-'"...Colchis bulls, made by Hephaestus himself. We can't fight them without Medea's Sunscreen SPF 50,000. We'll get burned to a crisp."'

In 'the Lost Hero' Jason, Piper, and Leo visit Medea's store, but they don't buy any sunscreen.

P.74-'"-,um I'm real sorry about this empathy link...well, I had no choice. Our emotions are connected now. If I die..."

"Don't tell me, I'll die too."

"Oh, well, perhaps not. You might live in for years in a vegetative state. But, uh, it would be a lot better if you got me out of here."'

That's much better.

P.94-Tantalus's story is about him. HE fed HIS children to the gods. I thought I should put this because my sister didn't understand it.

P.'Luke turned to Oreius. "It's time to feed the Aethiopian drakon. Take these fools below and show them how its done."'

This is NOT the same drakon for 'The last Olympian'

P.146-'A gravelly male voice said, "They're too close, m'lady!"

"Damn the heros!" The girl said. "Full steam ahead!"'

(*GASP*) Clarisse said a bad word! In a children's/young adult book!

P.166-'The ballpoint pen always reappeared back in my pocket no matter where I lost it'

More than half way through the book and he's just explain his pen.

P.188-'I shivered. The way she told it-even now, six years later-freaked me out worst than any ghost story I'd ever head.'

This confused me, at first I thought by 'six years later' he ment his current age in the book 13 plus six years later meaning Percy is 19 but thanks to donnimo412 I know he was talking about Annabeth she was 7 plus the 6 years later equals het current age in the book 13

P.197-'Of couse, Annabeth wouldn't be able to breath, but at that moment, that seemed like a minor problem.'

Since when is drowning a minor problem?!?

P.206-'Polyphemus breathed heavily, trying to control his anger."I don't see very well,"he growled."Not since many years who when the other hero stabbed me in my eye. But YOU'RE-NO-LADY-CYCLOPS!"'

You'd think he'd be smart enough to figure out before.

P.227-'...He ripped an olive tree out of the side of the cliff and smashed where I'd been standing moments before....'

(Later down the page)'The tree stuck him with such force it would've flatten my into a Percy pizza with extra olives....'

Is it just me or does Athena always seem to get Poseidon. Athena created olive trees and there's just a random olive tree in Polyphemus's reach.

P.234-the prophecy.

P.242-'...Agrius, the bear-man, burst onto the deck leading a flying horse. It was the first pure-black Pegasus I'd ever seen, with wings like a raven.The Pegasus mare bucked and whinnied. I could understand her thoughts. She was calling Agrius and Luke some names so bad Chiron would've washed her muzzle out with saddle soap.'

Everyone knows this is Blackjack right? But in this book Blackjack is a girl, in the rest of the books she is a he.

P.286-'Tyson blushed. The crowed cheered. Annabeth planted a kiss on my cheek. The roaring got a lot louder after that.'

For those hopeless romantics out there this is Percabeth's first kiss.

P.278-'Then the girl took a shaky breath. She coughed and opened her eyes.

Her irises were startling blue-electric blue.'

Here Thalia's eyes are BLUE, not GREEN. Like in the lightening thief.
