'Five shall go west to the goddess in chains,

One shall be lost in the land without rain,

The bane of Olympus shows the trail,

Campers and hunters combined prevail,

The Titan's curse must one withstand,

And one shall perish by a parent's hand.'

-P.89

I DO NOT OWN THE PERCY JACKSON BOOKS!!!

P.13-'"You mean the mist? Hasn't Chiron shown you how to do that yet?"'

I don't think Percy ever learns this trick.

P.13- '"It's more serious than that, Percy. I...I probably should tell you something."

"What?"

Suddenly she froze."They're gone."'

No! What was she going to say? Was it about the Big prophecy or Percabeth? Do you ever find out?

P.26-'And before anyone could react, the monster, with Annabeth still on his back, leaped over the cliff and tumbled into the darkness.'

From this page (26) to page 260, Percy doesn't see Annabeth besides in his dreams/visions (dream visions?).

P.36-'"Cool! Does it ever run out of ink?"

"Um, well, u don't actually write with it."

"Are you really the son of Poseidon?"

"Well, yeah."

"Can you surf really well, then?"

I looked at Grover, who was trying hard not to laugh.

"Jeez, Nico," I said. "I've never really tried."

He went on asking questions. Did I fight a lot with Thalia, since she was a daughter of Zues? (I didn't answer that one.) If Annabeth's mother was Athena, the goddess of wisdom, then why didn't Annabeth know better than to fall off a cliff? (I tried not to strange Nico for asking that one.) Was Annabeth my girlfriend? (At this point, I was ready to stick this kid in a meat-flavored sack and throw him to the wolves.)'

I love this little cute innocent Nico right here. But at the end of this book well...you know...(*makes koo-koo noise and rolls finger next to head*)

P.61- "And, whoa!" He looked at Mr. D."You're the wine dude? No way!"

When I was learning Greek mythology in school, I always referred to Mr. D. as the 'wine dude', who didn't?

P.s. this is the first time he's called the wine dude!

P.89

The Prophecy.

P.116- '...But you have to promise to keep my sister safe."

"I...that's a big thing to promise, Nico, on a trip like this. Besides, she's got Zoe, Grover, and Thalia-"

"Promise," he insisted.

"I'll do my best. I promise that."'

Percy did his best, but Nico didn't belived him. Why?!? :'(

P.122-125

From the sentence:

'"Well," I said."Let's go after them"'

To the sentence:

'"Too close," Blackjack said.'

This scene is on the cover.(sorry way too much to type.)

P.173-'...I was cut up and bleeding. Thalia had pine needles in her hair.'

Kinda random, but the irony that she (Thalia) used to be a pine tree and she has pine needles in her hair (Cheesy drum beats) Never mind...

P.176

'"That's us," he said."Those five nuts right there."

"Which ones me?" I asked.

"The little deformed one," Zoe suggested.

"Oh, shut up."'

I love Zoe, but poor Percy. She'll never give him a break.:'(

P.177

'"The stars are out," Zoe said.'

Foreshadowing?

P.187

'"And don't worry," she said."I'm not going to let this be easy and boring for you. No, I have wonderful surprises in store. Anguish. Indecision. Oh, you just wait."

Anguish [✔]

Indecision [✔]

Boring [] Never!

P.198

'He looked up at me with big watery eyes. "The prophecy.'One shall be lost in the land without rain'"'

Was I the only one who thought Bianca was lost, not dead?

I had my fingers crossed, I loved Bianca.:'(

P.208

'"Let us find the dam snack bar," Zoe said."We should eat while we can."

Grover cracked a smile."The dam snack bar?"

Zoe blinked."Yes, what is funny?"

"Nothing," Grover said, trying to keep a straight face."I could use some dam French fries."

Even Thalia smiled at that."And I could use the dam restroom."

Honestly, who didn't laugh, while reading this? (Besides Zoe)

P.236

'"About to die," Mr. D mused."How exciting. I'm afraid Chiron isn't here. Would you like me to take a message?"

I looked at my friends. "We're dead."'

XD great message! I'm sure Chiron would love that message.

P.267

Ares curse quote, word for word, from 'The Lightening Thief'-

'You have sealed your fate. Every time you raise your blade in battle, every time you hope for success, you will feel my curse. Beware, Perseus Jackson. Beware' (p.331)

This isn't his first battle since the curse, but this is the first and ONLY time the curse take place.

Chapter 18- A Friend Says Goodbye (P.276)

I'll admit, I cried in this chapter.

Chapter 19-The Gods Vote How To Kill Us (P.284)

The gots don't technicaly vote 'how' to kill them, more like 'if' they should kill them.

P.312

'She smiled tentatively. "Deal. And, Percy-"

What ever she was going to say was interrupted by Grover,...'

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

What was she going to say! (The world may never know.)
