Lucy's POV
I felt so bad. Natsu wasn't met to get this hurt I thought as we arrived in the nurses office. A women name Mira-Jane introduce herself as Mira and took a look at Natsu.

"He'll be fine, could you put this treatment on his cuts and patch him up, I have to check on another patient in the other room" she said sweetly and walked out of the room.

"She seems nice" I say putting the treatment on his facial cuts first.

"Don't be fooled, they call her the she devil" he says with that smile I love.

"Whys that?" I asked looking at the area I'm treating.

"That's one of her transformations she can do" he said looking into my eyes.

"W-what's wrong?" I ask looking back at him. He reached his hand up and moves my bangs out of my face. He leans in and stops just before our lips touch.

"You got cut?" He asked as he stroked my sore cheek.

"It only little" I say moving his hand away.

"Why didn't you tell me before?" He asked sounding mad.

"Because I didn't want you to feel bad" I say looking down.

"Oh Luce I'm really sorry" he said once again looking at my face.

"Does it hurt?" He asked as his thumb gently stroked it.

"A little" I reply softly, looking up.

"Here" he said leaning in and kissing the cut.

"That should heal it" he said with that smile again. He's so sweet I thought touching my cheek were his lips once sat. I blushed uncontrollably as Natsu's hand held my on the bed we are sitting on. When he realises he removes his hand making me want his warmth back. I go back to treating his wounds and wrapping his arm in a bandage.

"You got hurt pretty bad" I say not looking him in the eye.

"I could of taken him" he mumbles under his breathe.

"I know" I simply reply looking into his eyes. Natsu seemed somewhat shocked by my answer and stared at me.

"You think so?" He asked with a shy smile.

"I believe in you" I say with a faint smile returning to wrapping his bandages.

"Thank you" his words were like sweet honey.

Natsus POV
Luce looks beautiful I thought as she finished off my bandages. Without thinking, I lifted my hand up to bring her chin closer to mine. Our lips were about to touch and her breath sent chills down my spine.

"Am I interrupting?" A familiar annoying voice asked. Quickly pulling apart I looked at the figure leaning on the door.

"Loke" I mumbled angry that he ruined my chance to feel Lucy's lips once again on mine.

"Hey it's the kid I beat up with two punches" he said in a smug voice. I tense and stand up.

"You think your so much better then m-" before I could finish, Lucy grabbed my hand.

"Please Natsu, not now" she said looking in my eyes. I saw she was worried.

"I can take him Lucy, you believe in me, remember?" I said smiling.

"Not in this condition and I don't want you fighting a friend of mine" she says holding my hand tighter.

"Ok fine" I say turning back to Loke. I walk up to him as his fists are engulfed with magic. I extend my hand and smile.

"Hey I'm Natsu, sorry we got of on the wrong foot" I say with a goofy smile.

"I'm Loke" he says hesitantly taking my hand and shaking it.

"I get a bit fired up when I hear a challenge. Anyway, a friend of Luce is a friend of mine, right Lucy?" I asked turning to her. She had a smile on her face and a single tear dropped from her eye.

"Thank you Natsu" she said whipping it away.

"Come on you two, I'll show you around" I say extending a hand to help Lucy up as we head for a tour of the school, curtsy of me. As we walked around, Lucy's hair glowed in the sun and moved gently with the wind. She's my dragons treasure
