"Ryan, get out!"
"Why do I have to leave when you were the one cheating on me?"
"Because, unlike you, I have a job that can support to live here, while you just lost your job, so get out!"
"Greg, I have no where to go. I have no friends, family, anything. Please."
"Guess that you shouldn't have moved across the world with someone you had barely dated."
"You're such a dick! I hope you gets AIDS from that filthy skank and then burn in the deepest pits of hell!"
I stormed out, breaking the door with it.
"Fuck, Ryan!"
"No! Go fuck your stupid whore!"
I ran onto the street, breaking into tears.
I couldn't call my mom and tell her that she was right and that I should never have moved to London with a guy I had dated for a good six months.
Did we last a while?
Yeah. Two years after I left for London.
Was it forever?
I thought it was.
I sat on the curb, emotionally and physically exhausted.
Just as I sat down, raining started pouring on my head.
"Ugh. Just great. Thank you, Mother Nature!"
Suddenly, a car pulled up beside me.
"Are you okay? You should really be inside, you'll catch something out here."
That accent. I know it from somewhere, but I just can't place it.
"I'm fine. Don't you think I would be inside if I had a place to go?"
"Here, hop in."
I looked at the car.
"What if you're a rapist or something?"
"I promise, you would know if I was a rapist."
That's an odd thing to say.
I went against my best judgement and stepped inside the car.
Who knew that me trying to get out of the rain would lead me to the best adventure I had ever been apart of?
