Kat POV

"Zayn..." was all I could get out. My throat was dry and i looked like a mess.

He looked as if he were to tremble to his feet. He rushed over to me and sat by my bed and held onto my hand. His hazel eyes had so much worry and sadness when he studied my face.

"What happened?" He asked me looking straight into my eyes.

"I fell" I was so scared to tell him, i didnt want to but i just blurted that excuse out.

"Lame excuse Kat seriously what happened? Who did it to you?" He kept asking me these questions not angrily but calmly.

"Okay okay fine ill tell you but no interupptions okay?" He nodded and relaxed back onto his chair and ran his fingers through his hair. 

I told him about Alex and how she kept abusing me verbally and also physically. He listened really well but when the dark moments came out he winced at it and had alot of worry in his eyes. I kept playing with my hospital band and didnt keep my eye contact with his. I was too scared that he could just do anything. I was scared. 

He did the most unexpected thing that i would ever expect him to do. He leant down, took my oxygen mask off and kissed me on my lips. I never thought he would ever do that to me, but i loved it. I felt a spark jolt up my whole body. My heart started thumping really hard i could hear the beat in my ears. I could feel my stomach turning and doing heaps of crazy shit. 

He got up from me and sat back down on his chair. 

"I need to ask you a question and a serious question". He calmy said to me through his serious eyes. I nodded and guestured for him to go on.

"I will ask you the question but before i do, i need you to understand something" he stopped to take a breath. "i dont want you to ever and i mean ever, not tell me who is hurting you or threatning you." He spoke to me so softly.

I was looking forward to the god damn question but fine i understand where he is goming from. I nodded, promising him that i would tell him if someone is threatning  or hurting me. He smiled causing me to smile too.

"Okay and the question is...is do you want to be my girlfriend?". WHAT. Is this-this a dream? My long life childhood crush just asked me to be his girlfriend? Hell mother to the ducker!

"Calm down Kat we dont want ducks to attack us" He laughed under his breath. 

"I said that outloud didnt i..." 

"Yes, but the answer?" He awaited for me to say yes or no.

Zayn POV

 "No" She said blantly. What? Harry use to give hints to me that she had a soft spot for me? I feel so lonely right now. I feel hurt. 

"Its opposite day HA! Ofcourse i will Zaynie!" She laughed so hard that i joined in.

"Still have your humor whilst in a hospital aye?" I winked at her.

She nodded with a smile playing on her lips. I just wanted to kiss them over and over again. She was perfect and so was I so we were meant to be. I have a girlfriend

I, Zayn Javaad Malik have a girlfriend. I laughed to myself then left the hospital to get home.
