"So what about me then?"

I crunched on my cornflakes, when suddenly my spoon flew out of my hand. I gasped in shock, as everyone around the table started laughing.

"Your face!" Jin chuckled, and I realised what happened.

"Yoongi! Give me my spoon back!" I wailed, and he obliged; the spoon landed back in my hand.

"Ah, she caught on quickly," Jimin smiled.

"So, my question?" I pressed.

"It takes a while to find out, we didn't know our selves until quite a few months after we turned," Taehyung explained.

"Turned" makes it sound as if we are vampires or something, I smirked to myself.

I still hadn't seen Jungkook this morning, and wondered where he was. Suddenly, footsteps could be heard as the boy himself walked into the kitchen, grabbing a bowl before sitting down.

Speak of the devil.

"Morning Jungkookie," Jimin grinned, and Jungkook smiled back. I forgot how much I loved his smile... There was no trace of the monster I saw before, thankfully. Although the others did say he was good at controlling it, right?

I looked back at his seat, and my eyes widened when he wasn't in it.

"Jungkook?" I spoke aloud, looking around the room. A face appeared all of a sudden in front of me, just inches from my own, and I jumped back, almost spilling cereal everywhere.

More laughter erupted, including Jungkook's - I realised he had turned invisible to scare me.

"Really? Is this what you do to newcomers?" I laughed, pretending to be annoyed. They just chuckled at me, and I quickly finished my breakfast before anything else happens.

Don't eat so fast, you'll choke.

I almost spat out the last mouthful as I heard Jin's voice, as clear as day, in my mind. I glared at him, and he began giggling again.

I forgot he could speak telepathically.

"What did you say to her?" J-Hope laughed, and Jin just replied that he told me to not choke. J-Hope sniggered, and I stuck my tongue out at him before dumping my bowl in the sink.

"So, you need to train. Starting today," Namjoon informed me.

"What training?" I was skeptical.

"It's a dangerous world. And you've got to learn to defend yourself... Especially in these times." He replied, his brow furrowing.

"What do you mean?" The way Rapmon said it unsettled me.

"You'll know everything in due course. Just know that you've joined us at a prime time, when war will strike some time soon, and it's important for everyone to be prepared. Everyone."

I gulped. War? Danger? What have I got myself into...

"Come on then Yoona, get changed into your gear and let's go, you'll be with me first," Taehyung smiled, getting up.

What gear? I forgot to ask when I was downstairs. I rummaged through the wardrobe, and came across a black outfit, complete with subtle silver outlining. This must be my "gear".

After wearing it, I checked in the mirror. The fabric was soft and hugged my slim figure tightly, and even though it looked tight it was very comfortable and light. I found a pair of black trainers, well they were more like boots, and slipped them on.

Satisfied, I trudged downstairs to meet V. I was very nervous..what if I couldn't live up to their expectations?

"Don't look so worried, it's just training," V smiled as I walked into the lounge. All of the boys stared at me, obviously checking how I looked in the gear. I could see Jungkook in the back with his piercing gaze, and I remembered Suga's words from last night, "Just be careful... There's something about you..."

Ignoring his stare, I motioned to Taehyung.
"Let's go?"

He nodded, and the others smiled.

"So where are we training?" I asked. Is there a gym or special place nearby?

"Right... Here," V stopped as he came to the small utility room.

"Erm...." I looked around, and frowned.
"We're training here?"

He laughed, as he pressed a series of buttons on a panel in the wall. Suddenly, the wall slid to the left, opening up a passage leading downwards. I followed V down the stairs and gasped.

I was standing in a huge underground hall, stretching very far back. Along the left wall was an array of weapons of all different shapes and sizes; along the right wall were all sorts of exercise machines. The colour scheme of the place was deep red and gold. I stared in awe at the sight in front of me.
"Wow... This is amazing!"

V grinned. "Yeah, this is our training gym. I see you like it."

I nodded. It was impressive, to say the least.
V rubbed his hands together. "So let's get started..."

"You're shy." He stated, as he looked at my eyes. I looked away, embarrassed.
"Yeah..."

He tilted my head up again.

"Improve your posture - stand up straight. Keep your head up; don't slouch. And maintain eye contact."
I followed his instructions, but couldn't hold his gaze for long.
"You need to get rid of your shyness, only confidence survives in this world Yoona. You will get no where otherwise."

After a couple of hours, V signalled for a break. I hopped off the treadmill, panting. Yes, I had to improve my fitness. V would be my personal fitness trainer, apparently.

"Good work today! I'll send the next person down, just take a break for 10 minutes, okay?"

He smiled at me, giving me a brief hug before jogging up the stairs.

Wait, what?
