A new Love( James Norrington Love Story)

Chapter 2

I woke up to feeling arms wrapped around my waist. I looked to see James fast asleep. I smiled. But then I noticed the tear marks and the bags underneath the eyes. I stroked his face a feel times. He groaned a little but then went back to sleep. I got up and walked over near the door. I was about to leave when I heard three knocks at the door. I opened it to see Mary and some younger maid.

"Hello and good morning Autumn this is May the other maid of James. Please come with me to get dressed," Mary said.

I looked towards Mary. May kept looking at me then to James who was still sleeping under the covers. Mary grabbed my wrist and dragged me along. May stayed behind and closed the door behind her. I felt a spark of jealously.

"So does James have any women who admire him," I asked.

"Well many women do show that they fancy him but he ignores them. The only true women that he loved was a girl named Elizabeth but her heart was stolen by a pirate."

I nodded. We reached the changing area and I slipped off the shirt. Mary helped me with all of the uncomfortable stuff. She tightened the corset a lot. At first I couldn't breath. I hope James doesn't plan on going anywhere but due to this dress I plan the he is. She finished and we walked out to see James and May talking. James eyes widened when he say me. I was wearing a dark blue dress.

"You look beautiful," He said to me.

I blushed a tad and he smiled.

"Um- today I have a ceremony and I was wondering if you.....would be my...-date..."

I smiled, "I would love to be your date," I said.

I heard a dog barking downstairs. Running up James's grand stairway a black lab appeared. And of course this dog was running right towards me at full speed. James stepped in front of me and covered me.

"BENTLY  DOWN!"

The dog stopped and sat wagging its tail. James looked back at me.

"This is Bently, my dog say hi Bently," James said.

I patted the dogs head. James and I started to head down the stairs with May and Mary following behind us. I felt very uncomfortable.

"I'm sorry to rush you like this," James said.

"Oh no your not. My mother meeting me up with men is what is uncomfortable and rush like," I said.

He nodded. We went outside and he helped me into the carriage. This should be great..

James view

I couldn't believe that I had to go to this. But yet then again Lord Beckett was expecting me to be there. I just wanted to actually hang out with Autumn and learn more about her... We reached the area of the ceremony and my heart stopped. This is where I was going to ask Elizabeth to marry me.... Autumn looked at me confused but I just shook my head.

"Come, " I said to her as I opened up the carriage door.

There were all staring at us. I had to build up my courage so I took Autumn's hand. She grabbed my arm and we walked down the carpet. I turned to see Lord Beckett staring at Autumn in the way it didn't please me. I he walked up to us.

"Who is this fine lady?" He asked as he kissed her hand.

"This is Autumn," I said.

"Where did you find yourself such a lovely lady like this?" Beckett asked.

"Its a long story," Autumn said.

"I see. Well the ceremony is about to start. You may dance or do what you would like for now."

With that he left.

Autumn's view:

I felt James tense up as Beckett left. He walked me over to a opening where you could see that ocean.

"This is where I proposed to Elizabeth," He said sadly.

I turned so that I was facing him and I placed my hand on his cheek.

"It will get better James. You'll see," I said.

He chuckled. We left the area and we started to dance on the dance floor. His hand was rested on my waist. His hand was strong and warm than my small hand. We moved perfectly together on the dance floor. Suddenly I felt very hot and couldn't breath. I felt my knees collapsing and I fainted.

James view:

Autumn suddenly passed out. Many people looked over to us. I woman in a red dress told me to pick up Autumn. I did so and she escorted me to a shady part of the party. She started to un button her dress and she ripped open the corset that Autumn was wearing. I felt my cheeks heat. Autumn rolled to her side and gasped for air.

"James............."

I looked at her and smiled. She faintly smiled back.

"I'm getting you out of here, I said."

The woman buttoned up her dress again and I picked Autumn up. Beckett looked me confused but I kept walking.
