Chapter 10

Austin and I walked to the bus stop again. Everyone was already there again. Alex, Sarah, Tyler, Zach, and Rob. Rob ran over to us.

“I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU LIKE HIM!” Rob shouted at me.

“She told you that she likes Tyler too?” Alex laughed then covered his mouth.

“I knew it! You can’t resist this!” Tyler said and winked at me.

“Austin, tell him,” I laughed. Austin nodded and whispered something in Tyler’s ears. Tyler’s smiled faded and be pretended to be angry.

“Seriously?” he asked me, “Seriously?”

“Shh,” I said and put a finger over his mouth.

Sarah glared at me. I wonder what she would do to me. I mean she wouldn’t kill me would she? She has killed people in the past…

No, the boys would never talk to her again. She wouldn’t do that to herself.

She might tell Alex or she might do something worse… or both.

I tried to forget about it but isn’t that easy forgetting that someone who hates you is out to get you.

The bus pulled up in front of us, and once again I waited until everyone walked in until I did.

I sat down next to Eddie again and Georgia and Leslie were already sitting in front of me.

“Hey Olivia,” they greeted me.

“Hi,” I said and smiled.

“So what’s your schedule for today?” Eddie asked. I almost forgot! I pulled out a sheet from my backpack.

“Um I have PE, then Algebra, and then Music, then lunch, then history, and then English,” I read my schedule out loud.

“Ok, you have PE with Georgia, Music with me, lunch with everyone, and English with Leslie and Alex,” Eddie explained.

“Wait… Alex, you like Alex?” Georgia whispered in shock. Her mouth dropped open.

“Yeah but don’t tell anyone. They all think I like Tyler. Alex wanted to know what my secret was so Austin told him I like Tyler,” I exclaimed.

“You’re lucky you even get to hang out with them,” Leslie said.

“I know, why are you even hanging out with us?! You have a chance to be popular!” Eddie asked.

“Well I would it’s just… never mind,” I muttered quietly and looked down.

“Are you okay Olivia?” Eddie asked me, his voice filled with worry. I pulled off my best fake smile.

“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” I laughed nervously.

“Well, never mind.” Eddie muttered.

“So, Olivia, Georgia and I were thinking we could have a sleepover Saturday night,” Leslie beamed. I smiled. After the incident with Sarah this was the first sleepover I’ve ever had.

“That sounds great, who’s house?” I asked.

“Mine! I live in a mansion!” Georgia bragged loudly.

“Her house is humongous! Her dad owns a ton of night clubs!” Leslie exclaimed.

“Fine, just leave me out!” Eddie shouted and pretended to be sad.
