Misaki POV
"How was your first day, Azura? You went to your room before I could ask you last night." My Mum says, while I rummage through the numerous cupboards and drawers in the kitchen, attempting to find something to gobble for breakfast.Last night, after Kise walked me home, I went straight to my room and stayed up a bit — thinking about why I just agreed to learn Basketball with guy i just met, but I shrugged it of, jumping in bed and calling it a day. Why bother regretting things? It wont help, it'll just drag you down.
Also, these days happen sometimes, when you just feel tired feel like sleeping forever. Well, to me they happen rather a lot. I should probably get some more sleep now and then or I'll look like an old shrub.
"Eh. Alright, I suppose." I say bluntly, sighing and carrying on with my ludicrous search.
"Is that all your gonna say?" She asks, and frowns down at my frustrated figure: my hands having a tantrum in the cupboards.
"If you don't fancy anything in there I'll give you some money for the cafeteria." My Mum raises an eyebrow, and I look at her with relief.
"Thanks." I smile.

"Uuuughhh....the queue is soooo longgg..." I moan, joining the end with a grump facade.
Its now lunch, and I'm absolutely starving. I haven't actually eaten today, I've only brought a drink from the vending machine, so I'm currently in no mood to wait and be patient. I was never really that patient in the first place, but now I'm certainly not.
I frown, counting the number of people who are standing in my way from finally getting something to satisfy my stomach. My calculations come down to 29 people, and I can help but let out a loud groan.
"Tch. If you're gonna annoy me and moan about it don't even bother."
My eyebrows twitch, and I clock my head to shoot daggers at the guy who dared to say that to me — with such a low, irritated voice that, even though it was admittedly hot, I want to punch his face off. Hahaha when I'm hungry its almost a death wish to piss me off.
However, when I turn around to face the person, I freeze.
The male's eyes are such a cold blue: a mesmerising cold blue which halts me on the spot. A knot forms in my stomach, and I feel like whatever nasty remark that I was going to tear at him has been locked in my throat. He scoffs at me, and I think that I just received the worst first impression from anyone I've ever met.
Aomine Daiki.
I grit my teeth, and clench my hands into fists at my side. "Ahhh deal with it. Im not obliged to be happy so that you're not annoyed." I say, glaring with icy orbs and giving off an aura equal to a lion.
"Huh?" He growls, lifting his head up and glaring back at me, more irritated than ever.
Aomine Daiki. The ace of the Generation of Miracles.
He stares me up and down, and I fidget under his stone gaze, pouting with a light hue to my cheeks. Additionally, my cheeks grow hotter as he lingers on my chest. I flush from embarrassment, and mutter under my breath when he cockily raises one eyebrow at me. Now that I look him over, I can't help but notice how incredibly attractive he is, and my cheeks grow even hotter if thats even possible.
He smirks: hairs rise on the back of my neck, and my whole body feels tight.
"Did you not hear me?" I scoff, trying not to stutter. I swear all the hot guys are jerks, but this is ridiculous.
For an unknown reason, he seems to have calmed down a bit now, once looking me over. I feel sick about that. Damned pervert.
"Of course I did, idiot. Now move on, your holding the line up."
I glare at him, and I've just about had it with this guy. Even so, I step ahead, putting my hunger before the likes of him.
I grab a chicken burger, my awareness of the blue haired ace burning every second. When he's beside me, I can't help but be self-conscious now, and the sense of him a few metres away sends chills down my spine.
"If you eat burgers you'll get fat."
"I don't need to hear that from you!!" I spit, my hands clenched into fists as I hand the till lady the money. He laughs, and takes 3 burgers. My head feels like its about to explode. He's soo agrivating! "Right, and you pick 3? Who's the fat one?"
"I burn it off." He states, paying for his meal and walking off with it. I shake my head when my feet follow his, not knowing why Im walking along with him out of the cafeteria but not caring at the same time.
"Its still stupid." I remark, plunging my strong white teeth into my lunch. He looks towards me, with a look thats hard to decipher. It makes me more intrigued.
"And why are you still talking to me?" He questions, and I now notice my feet have followed him to the top of the building. He stops before a ladder, turning around to face me full-on.
I look straight into his eyes. His cold, beautiful eyes. As I do, he stares back into mine, and this is a moment that makes my body feel week, but my heart flutter inside my chest. I don't want it to end, desperately, that a frown appears on my features. In this brief moment, our eyes cant pull apart, despite our efforts.
A feeling waves through me when he turns around and begins to climb up the ladder. A feeling that makes my heart feel heavy and empty. A feeling that pierces my bubble and breaks my walls.
I head to the door, grasping the handle, and mumble, "I don't know."
