Misaki POV
Thankfully, its lunch, so I can be free and happy for a whole 45 minutes, before classes start again.
Launching my teeth into my chicken wrap, my feet carry me along the stone path surrounded my the field. People are chatting and the air is alive, and it reminds me of a sad thought that I haven't really made any friends. There's Kise, but I can't talk to him here, and Susa but that's only in math, and I don't see us as friends in any extent.
Though, the feel of the sun's heat radiating on my back satisfies me and eases my mind. I sigh with content. Being alone has it's perks, no matter how small. I'll make some friends eventually. I'm normal.
After school, I have to meet up with Kise for the Baskeball lesson. At the moment, I'm not quite sure what my opinion is on the matter: maybe I feel a bit reluctant as I'm afraid of sucking at it and making a fool of myself infront of a prodigy — and that prodigy being Kise somehow makes me even more worried. But on the plus, I'm pretty average in all topic's, so however small it is, I have faith that I won't completely suck. On the contary, that doesn't make me feel any less worried.
The next minute, I spot a pink haired girl jogging over, and I raise an eyebrow curiously. I've never seen her or spoken to her before, so I have no reason as to why she has ended up standing before me.
Her head falls on one side slightly, and she asks, "Excuse me, are you Misaki-chan?"
"Um. Yeah." Is the response that leaves my lips, and I see her relax ever so slightly, relieved that she hasn't asked that question to the wrong person.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Momoi Satsuki!" She greets, flashing me a warm smile. I return the gesture, not saying anything for the simple reason that I have nothing to say.
She looks me up and down, observing me. Her pink orbs lock onto mine for a moment, before she opens up her mouth to speak again. "So you're the girl Dai-chan mentioned..."
"What? Dai-chan...?" I sweatdrop, but recoil when I realise that it really is obvious who she is talking about. I flush momentarily at the thought that he was talking about me, despite why. They must be friends or rather close, since I can't imagine Aomine talking about it to anyone, but I don't even know near enough anything about him, so how would I know?
In my case, I haven't mentioned him to anyone. More importantly, I don't know how he got a hold of my name, but I settle with that Susa told him, also knowing he's the one who asked me to tutor him, after all.
She laughs nervously, and turns on her heels, her long pink hair swaying around with her. "Come with me, Mi-chan!"
M-Mi-chan....? I pout at the dumb nickname. Its even worse than Kise's.
"Where are we going?" I say with a tint of boredom, catching up to her with ease. I look ahead and notice that she's taking me to the exact same spot that I ended up following Aomine to, and I cringe. I don't want to see him! Especially now I know he was talking about me!
"To see Aomine-kun, of course!" She says it with so much enthusiasm, it makes me frown. Im not in the mood to see that pervert, nor talk to him now. But stupidly, I agreed to tutor him (which Susa said Aomine was against, but eventually agreed to as well) meaning that I going to see him sooner or later.
Somewhere inside me, I feel a connection with him. Somewhere else inside me, I have a stored up dislike for the guy. Its so conflicting and confusing that I wan't to smash my head against this ladder now before me.
"Dai-chan!" Momoi calls, beginning to climb up the ladder.
"Go away, Satsuki." The grumpy voice bellows from the roof; of the one and only Aomine Daiki.
