Misaki POV
Through the whole of History, I dread that I'll have to go to Aomine's after school. For a few simple reasons including: he makes me crazy with his lazy persona and rather perverted comments, and I can't stand how he makes my feelings tangle up into a knot of stress. It makes me want to rip my own hair out and scream like a maniac.

A moody groan fills the air around me, and I curiously look towards the ticking clock at the back of the classroom and see theres 5 minutes till school finishes and everyones dismissed.

5 minutes of peace.

I sigh, placing my elbow on the table and cupping my cheek in my palm as I enjoy these final moments. Heck, I may be over-exaggerating this like Im about to die in 5 minutes (who knows, I could die from AHOmine) but the generous and optimistic part of me hopes It wont be that bad.

-

The bell rings. Everyone whips past me like shooting stars, eager to leave. I would be too, but knowing what is waiting for me at the gates halts my feet from breaking into a run as I walk unlike everyone else.

But eventually, I exit the School building and my light blue orbs land on the tanned male near the front gates. The late afternoon sun looms over him and outlines his figure, and I could just glimpse his dark eyes turning over to me. I sigh, and make my way over to him.

"Tch. Why are you so damn slow?" Aomine moans as soon as I reach him. I roll my eyes.

"Tch. Why are your grades so damn low?" I mock, re-writing the question and ignoring his.

He eyes zone in on me, and lines appear on his forehead as he narrows his eyebrows at me. I smirk, enjoying the teasing and reaction I got from him, and understand why Aomine does it all the time. The results are worth it.

"Come on then. Take me to your place, Ahomine." I say with amusement, placing my hand on my hip.

"Shut up and follow me."

The walk there was practically silent. All was heard was the movement of our feet on the hard concrete and the naturalistic sounds around the city.

I pout, finding it awkward walking next to the ace. And I thought walking with Kise was awkward, I remark mentally, looking down at the ground as I walk.

To be honest, I want to start a conversation with him to break the tense air enveloping us, but the downfall to all us non-social folks is that we never have anything to say.

I could pin my hopes that Aomine might open his mouth, but that would be a waste of time since I think I made him grumpy. Also, if anything were to come out of his mouth, it would mostly likely be rude.

I guess its up to me, then.

"Soooooooooooo...." I breathe, looking up at him to notice his brilliant eyes are focused on me. It makes my knees feel numb — the way he's looking at me. Its an emotion I cant describe. "Are we nearly there?"

"Nearly." He says bluntly, stuffing his hands in his pockets.

A few minutes later, we arrive at the white door to his place, and he unlocks it, stepping inside. I follow through, into the living room, and look around the place.

Its not messy, but its not clean either. A few magazines are dotted around the place, and basketball-related objects dominate most of the shelves. Overall, his place is pretty big, but not too big to call it a house; more of a home.

"I see you live by yourself..." I mutter, placing my bag on the living room couch to my right.

Aomine scratches the back of his head, replying, "Yeah."

"So, are we gonna do it here?" I question, unzipping my bag and removing the math books and essentials.

"Do it, Misaki? You're jumping a bit too far." He smirks.

As I take in what I said and what it sounded like, pink dusts my cheeks.

"You know what I mean!" I defend, my fists tightening around the equipment in my hands with embarrassment and fury.

Aomine chuckles smugly, replying, "Sure." He takes a seat on the living room couch, still smirking at me.

I shoot daggers, and hesitantly, I take a seat beside him — keeping my distance — and put the books on the table in front.

Dirty idiot.

I huff, and flick through the pages of the math textbook to see what to do.

"Uhhh....lets just start easy." I announce, and give Aomine a piece of paper. Next, I dump the heavy math book in front of him, smirking. "Copy all notes from the textbook."

"What?!" Aomine grumbles, glaring at me. "No way am I copying all that shit. It will take ages!"

"Ahomine. Its not shit. Math. And just do as I say. Without me here, you're screwed. You need notes to look over when I'm not here." I say matter-of-factly, earning a scoff and the muttering of curses.

Obliged, he begins to copy the notes onto the paper grumpily, and I sit there next to him with no idea what to do.

Its so silent that I can hear him breathing, and I fumble and fidget impatiently next to him; twiddling my thumbs in a dance. Being around him always makes me nervous. I have to admit that his smirks and muscular body attract me enough to feel uneasy with him, but I don't show it. I don't want to unlike the time on the roof.

That was really embarrassing.

Once again, I decide to start a coversation, thinking that maybe if I get to know him and get used to him, these feelings will fade.

"How long have you played basketball for?"

He looks up at me, startled, and I tilt my head to the side, raising an eyebrow up at him. He looks back down to his paper where my glance cant be met. "Since I was five. Why are you asking?"
He answers, annoyance mangled with his words.

"Just curious. You are apart of the Generation of Miracles. Why shouldn't I be intrigued to ask?" I question.

"Tch. All people talk about is the Generation of Miracles to me. Its annoying."

I pout and narrow my eyes with a peck of hurt. "Alright then. Be that way. People just look up to you, thats all."

His expression is one of shock and curiosity at my statement. He holds my gaze for a while, eyeing me before saying, "Whatever."

I ended up leaving soon after, giving him the text book to keep copying from.

On the way home, all I thought about was him.
