Painful, Pure Love

Chapter 4

It was 4 in the morning and all I can think about is what I'm going to say to Mason at school today. I kept tossing and turning in bed, so I decided to go downstairs and get something to eat. 

As I made my way downstairs, I heard some people talking downstairs.

"Yeah, I know she said no but I still like her. There's just something special about her, you know?", I heard a voice say.

"Well of course I know that but I just don't want anyone to hurt her. And I know you're my best friend, but what if you two break up? Then it'll be awkward between us", another voice said.

Who are they talking about? 

I decided to walk around the corner and see who it was. To my surprise it was Luke and Mason.

"Oh, hey guys. Mason, why are you here at 4 in the morning", I asked.

"Why are you here at 4 in the morning?", he counter-asked.

"I live here silly", I laughed. I walked over the the kitchen table that they were sitting at.

No one spoke any words until Luke left Mason and I alone.

"Mason, I'm sorry I said I didn't like you. I actually do," I admitted, "it's just that I didn't know it until I realized I do like you, Mason."

His eyes lit up as he walked towards me. Slowly, he grabbed my waist and pressed me against the wall. 

"W-what are you doing", I asked.

"Shhh, just let me try something", he whispered.

I looked up at him and noticed he was smiling. I didn't exactly know what he was doing until he pressed is lips against mine. It felt so gentle and passionate. Since I didn't kiss back, he pressed is lips harder against mine. This time, I kissed him back. My hands traveled up his hair. When I tugged on it, he moaned a little. Damn, his moan his sexy. Everything was going so well until someone interrupted us.

"What the fuck is going on here?!", Luke shouted.

"U-um w-we were just..", I couldn't answer his question because I know he saw us.

"Luke, dude, I'm sorry", Mason said, "it's just remember that talk I had with you earlier?"

"Yeah", Luke grunted.

"Well I really like Brooklyn. She's sweet, beautiful, kind, and smart," Mason replied. 

Awww!! That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me besides Scarlett.

"Oh, well then if my sister is happy, then I'm fine with you two dating", Luke said.

I smiled. This was turning out to be the best morning ever. I'm still tired though. It's still 4 in the morning. 

Luke left to go back to sleep and Mason was getting ready to go back to his house. 

"Brooke, I like you. I really like you. Will you be the honor of being my girlfriend?", Mason asked happily.

Yay! I hope you forgive me for not updating in like...2 months. But I finally have. I now will be updating on Monday's, Thursdays, and Sundays.
