They were late.
Walter paced back and forth along the entrance. Checking his pocket watch constantly keeping track as each second would past. Tugging on the collar that was suddenly choking him he sighed heavily. He roughly ran his fingers through his hair as her heard fast footsteps. Of course they weren't fast enough.
"Walter."
"You're late."
His tone was firm as he looked at the two with disdain. "We're-"
"Now let's go. We have no time." he went inside along the corridor.
"Can you ex-"
"No time." he sighed before continuing along the path.
...............................................
Walter's paced caused a large gap between the group.

The corridor was long. No one was outside, only the little people beneath their feet. Endora turned her head and glanced at the garden. The greens scattered about, made everything look alive. Her nose flared as the new scents found her. It took most of Robin's energy and strength to pull the two of them closer to Walter and Leo-who managed to catch up to him.
..............
When they reached the doors to the throne room Walter's feet came to a halt. Leo slowed down, allowing him not to but into him. Unfortunately for Robin, she ran into Leo from behind bringing Endora with her. Rather than hitting Leo, she flew out Robin's hand and hit Walter. He nearly lost his balance as she bowed her head apologizing deeply. The sudden gesture caused the pressure to shift in her head. Unsure if it was proper, she kept her head down waiting for him to speak and for the pain to go away.
"No, its fine." he said slowly since her gesture caught him off guard. His ears looked rosy as he checked his watch omce more.
"If his majesty isn't already upset we won't get an earful." he sighed opening the door.
.......................
Walter walked in front if the three of them. Robin was to her right and Leo was to ger left.
The throne room was large stretching from east to west. The carpet was red. Like apples or roses.
In front of them stood five thrones. She looked at them. The king who sat before her looked rather run to be with such a mature woman.
"I see the king couldn't wait." Walter mumbled but Endora could still here him. Robin and Leo both took a knee leaving Endora on her own two feet. Upon realization she did the same even thought her attire wasn't meant for her to do so.

"Stand."

The girl jumped doing as she was told. The regent on the throne chuckled eyeing her. She felt vulnerable not knowing anything.
The country she dwelled in.
Who she was before.
Who she is now.

"Who are you and state your business." he ran a hand through his hair grinning as Endora trembled.
She felt colder.
Desperate she tried to remember. It had to have been like writing your name, or riding a horse. You can't forget.
Except she did.

Her head began to pound as her chest tightened. Takinging deeper breaths she looked down

The carpet began to dissapear under her feet as darkness replaced it. The pounding in her head was unbearable, as if Aries cursed her himself.
She knew all of them were looking at her. She could hear whispers she didn't recongnize. She opened her mouth to speak but heard someone else instead.

She's my sister.

Everything in her mind stopped. Slowing the colors returned.

Although she didn't know them long, she knew whose voice it was. Leo's head was down while he was on his knee. She could see him from her right. Unable to see his face, she couldn't read him. Not that she could read any of them well, but it was the only way for her to know if his words are sincere. Unfortunately she couldn't ponder for long. Issac spoke up lifting one of his brows.

"The maiden is mute then?"

Caught off guard, she shook her head. "No, sir." Her voice was better.

"What is your name?"

Matilda.
His voice was as low as a whisper but she heard it. Although confused she still spoke.

"Matilda."

The name was foreign but he was convinced it was hers. For the first time, she decided to look at the family. Unclear on who the king was, she couldn't help but notice that the royal family has been busy the past years. All of their expressions were stoic making her unable to read them. Or at least attempt to. The oldest sat to the right of the mother. The youngest was in the middle while the middle child was to the far right. Although the arrangement peaked her curiosity, she couldn't help but notice that the eldest son resembles the queen more. Withdrawing that thought she realised how enraged the regent was.

"Did you not hear me you insolent woman?"

His statement was hypocritical but she didn't respond.

"My ap-"

"Yes, your apologies." He waved her off causing the queen to glare. He didn't notice as he continued to speak.

"You will be a farmhand with your brother." he began. "I'm sure you are capable and hardworking. You will be added to the payroll and a room will be given to you or you'll share with someone else." he eyed her. Unlike his looks from before, his eyes held some sense of interest. His eyes went from her head to her neck. Then her chest to her stomach. Her legs to her toes, then arriving back to her face. She then looked away growing uncomfortable quickly until the Queen caught her attention. When she glanced at her, her anxiety went away as she smiled warmly at her.

"You are dismissed, sweetheart."

Endora nodded turning away from the family until the others followed behind her as they left.
