Movie Problems

It was Friday night and every Friday, it was sort of like a "Netflix and Chill" day for Beca and Jesse. They both looked forward to it. It was their way of bonding. They had tons of movies but sometimes, they wouldn't agree on one. But in the end, it all worked out.

Beca got out a stack of movies from the cabinet under a dresser. She saw Star Wars on the very top of the stack which got her attention. She was too busy looking at it when she accidentally closed the cabinet door and it caught her index finger. "Owww, Jesse could you bring me a bandaid please?" yelled Beca. Beca could feel her finger throbbing. It was the worst pain she ever experienced. Well not including that time when she lost her charm bracelet Jesse gave her for her birthday.

Beca yelled again, "Jesse, you got that bandaid?" Jesse came downstairs and started to examine her index finger. "Becs, you'll be fine. All you need is an ice pack to prevent it from turning black or blue." Beca rolled her eyes at him." Yeah, I'll tell you that next time you get a serious injury," she said while going back to the movie collection. Jesse smirked at her response. He saw the movie and realized he'd seen that movie already. "Oh, Becs, I already saw that movie." Beca gave him the death stare. "You watched it without me? You know how much of a dork I am for those movies!" She rolled her eyes at him again. "I'm sorry but it was during film school." Jesse replied. "You know what, you pick the movie." Beca said. Jesse sighed and started rummaging through the movies.

Beca went to go sit down and started staring at Jesse's body. She caught herself biting her lip. She couldn't resist herself. After a few minutes, Jesse picked out the movie, "McFarland." He went to go put it on and then went to sit down with Beca. And as soon as he sat down, Beca jumped next to him and put her arms around him. Jesse was the type of guy who didn't always like to cuddle with his girlfriend. He was a little more independent than Beca. Other times, he would pull away but today, he played along with it. They cuddled closer together and gave each other a long, warm kiss before the movie began. That is why Beca loved Friday nights.
