Chapter 4

Taraji -

"Girls it's not even that, I trust my man, I just don't trust these thirst bucket ass hoes out here," I said as I cut my steak. Since Mary was in town this weekend for her show we decided to go out for lunch. It had been a while since we had a girl days out so this was much needed.

"Girl I hear you, I had to put Elgin in check the other day laughing in this hoe face, and then he wanted to act stupid like he ain't know what was going on," she said as she ate her shrimp scampi.

"Girl these men, but I know Chris really broke my heart with the whole Rihanna situation but I forgive him, I don't know how but he's gained all my trust back, I won't be naive and say that I don't still have those moments where I think he's gonna cheat, because I do, I ain't gonna lie I look through his DMs, his text messages, I look through all of it, but I love him and I know he knows I'm not playing. If he ever cheats on me again I swear Royalty gonna be without a daddy," I said.

"Girl I heard that," Mary said. Royalty started making noises and pointed to my food. "No, stop begging," I said as I put some mashed potatoes on a spoon and fed her. She still pointed to my steak. "She over there begging?" Mary laughed. "Yes she does that all the time she gets away with it with Chris but she not getting away with it with me," I said as I gave her another spoon full of potatoes.

"She is getting so big, and she really looks a lot like Chris now, she looks like him just in a dress," Mary said as we laughed. "Yes girl, but I think she has my personality," I said. "And your attitude, do you see her when she pouts," Mary laughed. "Shut up," I laughed.

"Have you heard from Gabby lately?" She asked. "Yeah I talked to her the other day after Dewayne's game she said she might come out here," I said. "Okay cool we need a girls weekend I'm talking mani pedi, shopping, some fine ass men," she said as we laughed.

"Girl you know my husband will kill my ass if I even thought about another man, plus he's all the man I need anyway," I said. "Girl you a freak that's how you got tiny tot over there," she laughed. "Girl and he's been talking about having a son, I said I was gone think on that one, cause I went through so much pain during labor I ain't even thinking about no more babies," I said. "Girl be quite you and Chris gone have some more kids," she laughed.

"If we do it won't be soon," I laughed. "Yeah yeah yeah come on girl I want a new watch," Mary said as we paid for the food. Once we left we drove to the mall.

I went inside the children's place and bought two Minnie Mouse outfits for Royalty. Then we went to the Gucci store and I got a new necklace and charm bracelet. We were in the men's section and I saw this watch I new Chris would love. I took a picture of it and sent it to him.

Five seconds later I felt my phone vibrate. He sent me a text Husband ❣ : I like :)

Me : I know I got good taste baby ;)

Husband : ❣ Yeah I guess

Me : What are you doing ? I miss you.

Husband ❣ : Working I got some more clients today. I'm gone be so tired when I get home.

Me : Too tired to spend time with me?

Husband : No baby of course not.
I always got time for you momma.

Me : you better Maurice ;)

Husband ;)

I chuckled and put my phone in my purse. "Girl you and Chris must be over there sexting the way you smiling like that," Mary said. "Girl shut yo freak body ass up," I laughed. We passed the Disney store and Royalty started making sounds.

"What princess?" I asked. She pointed to the store. "You see Mickey baby?" I said. "Come on Mary let's go in the store and get little Mickey a doll," I said. We walked in the store and Royalty started clapping her hands. I walked over to the Mickey teddy bears and got her a Mickey and Minnie one. She started reaching for one. "Baby I have to pay for it first," I said as I went over to the register.

She started kicking and yelling. "Royalty don't make me get my purse strap I will fuck you up In this store, that might work for daddy but that ain't working on me," I said. She wiped her eyes as I headed to the counter.

I paid for the dolls and then we left. "Okay T I gotta go get ready for my show tonight," Mary said as she gave me a hug. "Okay girl we gotta hang out again before you go," I said. "Okay girl," she replied. "Royalty tell Auntie Mary bye," I said. Royalty began to wave at Mary. "Bye auntie baby, be good," she said as she gave Royalty a kiss on the forehead.

Once we got outside I strapped Royalty in her car seat and then I put the stroller and the bags in the car.

Chris -

"Alright Sheila thanks I had a good day today," I said as we started packing up. "I did too we got a lot of work done," she replied.

She dropped her phone and I couldn't help but look at her ass as she bent over. Thinking about Taraji I went to packing up my stuff. I knew she would kill me if she read my mind.

"Okay Sheila well I'll see you tomorrow," I said as I shook her hand. "See you tomorrow Chris.... Oops Mr. Brown," she said as she winked and walked off. I smiled slightly and grabbed my suitcase. I can already feel drama in the air.
