We were sitting on Starbucks, I forgot that Caleb was working today.
I stands up making her way to the barista to give him my order.
"Hi Maddie" Caleb nods at me.
I nod and order what me and Haley want.
"I'm really sorry" he said handing me the drinks.
"That's your pain in the ass" she giggles.
"I need him to get over it" I say sitting back at our table.
"So you and Hayes, what's up" she asks with a devilish smile.
"We are good back to normal" I say drinking her frappe.
"You have a really bad definition of normal. Friends aren't supposed to kiss" Haley says looking at me smiling.
"I know, I'm just really confused" I say looking at her drink.

"I'm not sure if I truly like him or if it's just the idea of having my first love back in town"
"Madison, I going to tell you what I think. You both like each other but are too afraid to confess your love. He looks at you as if you were some work of art, and you look at him as if he was the best thing in the world. You don't like him, girl you love him" Haley says holding my hand and squeezing it.

"Can you go with me to Alana's apartment?" I ask Hayes making a puppy face that he always falls for.
He smiles and pecks my lips.
"Let's go" he says standing up and holding my hand to help me stand up.
"I swear I could get lost in this couch" I say and giggle he smiles.
He opens the door for me and we walk out of Ben's house.
Alana's house was 5 blocks away and we walked holding hands all the way to Alana's house, I tried twice to untangle our hands because of how sweaty my hand was but Hayes just squeezed my hand.
"Alana!?" I yell for the fifth time knocking the door harder.
I needed to pick up Drew's medicine, he had this thing in his back that hurted him.
Tired of knocking on the door Hayes opens the door with some key that was under a plant besides the door.
We walk in to meet an empty house.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" I yell at the top of my lungs.
Opening every door to see if there's anything or anyone.
"SHIT!. Tell me she did not!" I say tugging at my hair.
"Madison.."
"What!?" I say exasperated looking at him.
"There's the medicine with a note" Hayes says pointing out to a window where the medicine was.
"Call Damen and Ben. Please" I say with watery eyes.
He looks at me concerned and takes his phone to make the call.
There was a note for Damien and another for me, I took mine and placed Damen's one on the floor, i sit beside it.
Madison: I'm truly sorry. I got to do this you might be thinking about how awful I am but I have my reasons. You say I'm overreacting but I'm fucking 19 years old with twins. You have always say that what you plant is what you cultivate, but what did I plant to cultivate this. I know I'm not the best behaved teen but I never did something that bad to get this. Have fun taking care of the twins. You may not believe me but I love you all, even though you don't.

By the end of the note I was a crying mess, what will happen to Damen and the twins.
Damen deserves to be happy and the twins are too young for this bullshit.
i looked up at Hayes who was still on shock, he squeezed my shoulder and wiped my tears.
"what happened here?" Damen asks with wide eyes.
"Alana left this" i say ignoring his question, i was to afraid too afraid.
how do you explain to your brother that the girl he loves, mother of his child's, ran away.
he looked at me worried and started reading the letter.
"Oh" Damen bites his bottom lip and looks down.
tears started to form in his green eyes but he stayed strong for the twins that where looking without a clue of what is happening.
"dy what happens?" Rose says with wide eyes looking all around.
"don't worry baby, ill tell you later i just need a moment"
"Ben call Haley, the twins aren't ready for this" i say hugging Drew.
Ben nods and carries both of the twins and takes them out.
after Ben closes the door Damen smashes his fist into the wall repeatedly.
"HOW COULD SHE! I TOLD HER ABOUT OUR DAD AND HOW HARD IT WAS FOR ME TO GET OVER IT AND SHE STILL DID IT. GOD DAMN. THOSE KIDS DON'T DESERVE THIS BULLSHIT" he screamed at the top of his lungs hitting harder the wall, Hayes tried to make him stop but Damen was stronger.
"Damen. DAMEN!" i finally scream making him stop.
he looks at me and slowly sits down holding his fist, Hayes looks at me without knowing what to do, and trying to process what Damen just said about our father. I never told him anything about him.
"You are strong Damen, i'm here and i'm doing everything in my hands to help you, you did it once you can do it again" i say sitting beside him and hugging him.
Ben comes back again with his phone in his ear probably calling Alana.
"that bitch really left" Ben pulls his hair looking stressed.
"we should go home, get some Coffee to cool off" Hayes says taking Ben's keys.

"She left like Dad did, now the twins have to go through that.." i whisper pulling the covers up.
"i bet your Dad was a asshole just like Alana" he says turning me so i look at him.
"he wasn't, he was amazing, i don't know why he left. I think it was because of mom" i say slowly.
Hayes mumbles a sorry and tries to braid my hair.
"You once told me that everything happens for a reason, God takes people out of your life because those people already took you were they where supposed to" he says kissing my head, i close my eyes because of the contact.
i was so tired that i didn't open my eyes again until the next morning
